The Brociland Region, a kingdom on the border of a massive and dangerous forest. Tales have passed down for generations regarding the secrets of this wooded fortress, but the most famous of the legends tells of a fountain deep within the forest that gives those who drinks from it the power of the forces of nature itself, ruling earth and sky alike with mighty storms and great quakes.
Naturally such a tale has gone down as merely a fanciful myth; however as of recent new developments has given cause for a serious inquiry. Addressed to all the states of the region and beyond, the king sent for a decree.
"Adventurers needed! A horrible drought has befallen Brociland, and our kingdom has begun to wither already. Despite this terrible blight, reports have come in that the city closest to the Hidden Forest has remained as the sole verdant land for reasons unknown.
If you are brave please come to the kingdom's aid by traveling to the city of Rundabell and enlist in the survey efforts of the Hidden Forest to discover the reason behind this anomaly, and if possible, use it to revitalize our suffering nation. The quest will be perilous, but those who succeed shall be rewarded beyond their wildest dreams. For the kingdom of Brociland, come to our aid!"
With that summons, would-be heroes came pouring in from every corner to delve the mysterious depths of the forest. In an effort to ensure the safety of the explorers, it was mandated that all who wish to enter the forest must be registered into a guild in case they go missing. It was further advised to always go out in groups to watch out for each other.
Please assemble your team of recruits now. Delver parties are generally composed of 4-5 members for typical expeditions.->
