((Narrator's note: Earlier in the battle I realized I had made a mistake in the everybodies damage calculating, but didn't change it due to it resulting in higher numbers for the first battle. Going forward I'll be careful to double check the numbers, so be warned the attacks may get a tad weaker IF we have another battle before you guys return to town.))
Iris snaps her whip at the Forest Monitor to get its attention. It deals 1 damage to the reptile, forcing its good eye to becomed locked upon the Supervisor. The monster has recognized Iris as its master!
Battle Clear!
---------------------
The battle was hard fought, but the Delvers managed to successfully come out on top! The team is more than a little weary however, and Naden is still too weak to move. In this situation finding a suitable location to set up camp would be ideal, but Delvers are warned not to rest near the site of a fresh battlefield, the slain beasts will inevitably attract more monsters and only compound the issue. In that regard going further into the Forest and continuing the search for the Lifeliner is the wisest course of action.
That said, there are still matters here that can warrant attention. There are still the strange apple fruits noticed earlier in the area, which presently are being devoured by the newly tamed Forest Monitor. For that matter perhaps they would benefit from a name if they'll be travelling with you all? After all business is handled in this area the road forward leads north.

Loot>Tail+Fur
Well, you have to wonder, if only briefly, if one can discern any other abilities from the fruit. They healed the monitor, so maybe we can take some and see what it does if we're ever in a pinch. Otherwise, I don't want to use up our only camp...are we sure Naden can't be revived by other means?

that feel when your character acts without you posting an action
Agree with the Tail+Fur plan, then vote to name the monitor Lizardy McLizardface.

Sure, tail and fur, why not?
Lincoln: awkwardly stand around for a moment. Suggest to name the monitor "Hans".

Negerine reaches down to examine one of the fresher looking fruits as Lizardy, or Hans if Lincoln means to battle Iris on this matter, sates itself at last. Pocketing one for now seems to be reasonable for strictly scholarly inquire, but if by some tragedy the group manages to burn through their generous Potion buffer it may end up making the difference between triumph or defeat. In any regard all business here is finished up with. The group gathers themselves up and forges ahead...
Heading north eventually reaches a distinctive fork in the road. The way north on the trail leads into a denser section of the forest, following a gentle hillside with a much thicker underbrush then the path has seen until now. It doesn't give much of an impression, but the lingering thoughts that it doesn't see travellers often stay close. East conversely sounds much more lively as the sounds of human voices ring out in the distance. It would be reasonably safe to assume that other Delving teams must be further ahead, and with them the likely proximity of the Lifeliner.

The consensus to avoid wandering into ominous locations is an unspoken given of course, but it'll be prudent mind this trail for a later day.
The Delvers soon find a pond in an open clearing, running down from a creek along the eastern slope. Minding the request the Delvers immediately search the area for any sign of berries, but ultimately come up empty; Though this being the first sign of water in the forest is encouraging to see. Following the channel will undoubtedly find the Gobberries.
To the South however, the distinctive light of the Lifeliner catches everybodies eye, and crops of Delvers arriving along with it. The twisting ropelike tree curls at the seams as if waiting to embrace a child from a long journey home, To Delvers of this forest, the Lifeliner is always regarded as a welcome sight, and a kind and loving savior among the more... eccentric sorts. At this moment the group is free to return to town at a moments notice, but delving on is always an option as well, especially if they wish to capitalize on the return home by getting as much out of their trip's experience beforehand.
If everybody should decide to stay out on the field, then, the safety afforded by the natural repellant ambiance monsters have to Lifeliners will allow a safe night's rest to recouperate and resuscitate for continued adventuring.

I guess keep exploring. Might as well see what else we can find. Keep going to try and find the Gobberies.

Who says we can't rest up then start after the berries? Once we find them we can always use the Liner to go back immediately. It's like an Escape Orb but stationary and also a Pokemon Center except not really.

Party Conditions The quick rest from the first journey into the Forest revitalizes the Delvers. As night drew closer Naden awoke from his severe bashing to find the very same monster responsible lurking just beyond the Lifeliner, a normally impossible feat to consider if not for what was obviously his blood still painted on the scar-faced monitors tail. As Naden began to reach for his sword the other Delvers quickly explained that the Monitor, Lizardy Hans, is under the command of the teams Supervisor now. Bygones will just have to be bygones going ahead. Camping out in the forest is a good way to continue momentum in the forest, but it does come with a few drawbacks. There are some conditions that it has no effect on for example, temporary paralysis or burns for example can be mended easily by any Delver with some time, but a sitdown won't do much good when you're bleeding to death or turned into an animal. Being K/O'd can be helped to an extent by a rest, but it's only the bare minimum restoration. In order to keep the intentions of the group going, Naden takes a potion from the stock to bring him to par with the group as they move out. The hike up the babbling hillside provides a cool climate for walking. Strangely though the sound of Delvers continues to be elusive despite how close it seemed from so far away. Trying to hone in on where the fellow adventurers may have gone, the sound of... Croaking picks up? Looking around across the stream a small colony of rather chubby looking frogs are found occupying a small branching creek nestled among large reeds. They don't seem to be aware of the groups presence from this distance, but they'll likely not be interested in humoring your presence if you get closer. Shall you let the frogs be?

Leave the frogs alone. Unless they attack and/or kill you. I second this action. Yes, except that Naden shall attempt to push Iris into them. So basically, no.

Party Conditions Pointing to the South, Iris motions the group past the frogs so as not to disturb them. Let sleeping frogs lie as the saying goes, probably. All in favor of the idea; Lincoln, Negerine, and Naden crowd by Iris as she keeps watch on the amphibious monsters for activity. The three plod by to make it Southward, when suddenly a stray satchel knocks into the Supervisor and sends her falling into the soft muck with a wet splat. Lizardy charges over to check on its handler, but by this point the creek has fallen silent. Helping up the muddy teammate, The Delvers find themselves trading glances with dozens of wide eyed frogs casting off a downright menacing aura. Quickly reaching for their weapons, The delvers meet the cacophony of croaks head on. It's a battle! Ambiance: B** No bonus Robber Frog A: HP:18 (New Enemy) Robber Frog B: HP:18 (New Enemy) Robber Frog C: HP:18 (New Enemy)

These frogs'll likely be hard for ol' Lincoln to smash. Try waiting until they're occupied by a teammate, then hammer 'em.

Push Naden into the frogs. How rude, Naden didn't do anything. It was clearly some nefarious unseen race of pranking bears.Use the foggy of warry because we canny and thenny use a sworddy

Welp, I'd say it's officially time for Naden to down one of those 28 potions we have. Overstocking on those was probably a good idea.
And then sword things, I guess. I dunno.
