The monitor flickers to life as what was quite obviously a game of MarioKart is paused. Reix's avatar pops up onscreen. "Hello Melville!" They then notice the other Narrators in the room. "Wow... I mean I can understand why you'd bring your apprentice," they murmured as they gestured to Pantages, "but that's a lot of people..." It's hard to tell if Reix is joking or literally has stage fright.

Malachi laughs a bit at that. "That ridiculous name? No, the entire forces of the Narrator Corps conspired against me to give me this name, along with the dullest teacher imaginable. If I remember right, Reix thought the old one suited me because of all the drama I was making.",

"Hmm...Only thing I could find was this file, but I'm not sure if I could decrypt it..." They mutter, wondering why this file marked "Riley" is so heavily encrypted.
