Narrator: noun a person who delivers a commentary accompanying a movie, broadcast, piece of music, etc.
The time is the present day. The location is the Headquarters for a company of theaters (movie and others), Parody Cinemas. However, the company has an unusual way of going about the presentation of the works exhibited in their theaters. Enter the Narrator Corps, a large and diverse group of men and women skilled in narrating films and the like (and who happen to for the most part have a liking for strong coffee, but that's unimportant). Narrators are trained one-on-one for the most part, but some choose to attend Rivera Academy to gain their education in the craft.
However, it is not a peaceful world. The life of a Narrator is often filled with conspiracies, secrets, and hidden pasts. The members of the Corps often have rivalries with each other regarding works they Narrate. There have been fires, fights, tragic memories, and many revelations of past secrets in the Corps' history.

Narrator Name: Malachi
Real Name: Stewart Stockston
Age: Late 20's
Rank: Apprentice, halfway through training.
Bio: Growing up as a proper gentleman, wise to the ways of buisness, Stewart Stockston was always fascinated by the concept of having a job as a narator. The idea of being paid to speak words about what happened on screen intrigued him, but being invested in bank management as he was he never pursued it further. After an accident which ruined his reputation in the banking community and destroyed his livelihood he remembered his old fascination with narrating and decided to rebuild his life by joining Parody Cinema. He still has never told anyone about the accident.
Personality: Impulsive, which tends to get him in trouble. Also rather proud of himself.
Nationality: British because I want to play a stereotypical englishman .
Other: Has the most dapper mustache you have ever seen.

Background: Melville was paralyzed in a car accident when he was ten years old, which also left him orphaned. He lived with the family of his cousins for much of his life. His two cousins would later become Narrators Heathcliff and Alcott. He was trained by a woman named Narrator Adams, real name Kei Makoto, before her mysterious disappearance.
Personality: Melville is usually fairly easygoing and generally open, unless it's a question about the accident or anything else related to him being paralyzed. He loves classic rock and can be found listening to it in his free time. Has a sarcastic side, which you usually only see if you tick him off.

Name: Narrator Snowdrop (Lily Snowdrop)
Looks like: Blue hair,blue eyes,pale skin,blue jeans,white shirt,black boots, trench coat.
Spical about her: Has Blue Jay wings
Personally: Shy, great speaker,can get anyone to side with her, loves everything but snakes,spiders and a few others, will do anything for everyone. Tells no one about her wings and shows no one her wings.
Bio: She had a sad life, she was always alone her parents were never home. She always brought in strays to have as company while her parents were away. She watched so many hurt animals and cryed in a hole in the corner under her bed. She could never do anything about it. Lily always felt bad about all of the animals getting hurt. Lily also always looked at everyone like they were friends and learned the hard way that everyone she trusted back stabbed her. They told so many lies about her she had no idea what to fink or do anymore. Lily was alone one day with no one and there was a knock on her door, she answered it and was taken. Lily was brought to a lab to be tested on, the gave her shots and crap. The whole time she was in a lab she never knew her parents got into a accident and died. So no one looked for Lily,they thought she was with her parents and thought she was dead too. Lily was a test subject and no one knew. She grew Blue Jay wings after 3 months and was alway kept behind doors,till one day they let her go free back into the world. Lily did so much and always hide her wings,never ever showing them. Lily looked at life to the fullest and one day saw a sign that said "Why don't you become a narrator?" And she did. Now she is a apprentice, she was taken under there wing to become a full narrator.

Real Name: Drake Negerine
Age: In the 20's. He's yet to disclose exactly where...
Rank: Apprentice, he quite literally just started.
Background/Personality: Drake grew up surrounded by various stories, screenplays, and the like. Mostly medieval war stories and action. Donning a blue jacket, a pale yellow shirt, and a pair of binoculars and a camcorder ("Just in case," he says), he decided when he was very young that he'd become a writer for these sorts of stories as well, growing up to find Parody Studios and an opening there. However, he didn't quite know what he was getting into when he joined, but he's determined to see this dream through.
Good thing he brushed up on those strategy books to make a realistic battle/war scene.
Nationality: He insists American.
Other (anything else necessary to add): He's not afraid to use underhanded tactics in the slightest if it will give him a swift and decisive victory, but he won't try to make his victory noticeable right away, so as to avoid drawing attention so he can focus on his own efforts, nor will he try to face two enemies in rapid succession.
Prefers English Breakfast Tea over coffee, oddly enough.

Real Name: Camille Watson
Age: 13 1/2
Rank: Narrator Apprentice
Background/Personality: Pantages was found in a park half a year ago by Melville and some other members of the Narrator Corps. She appears to have been lost on some extended camping trip, but will only tell her mentor about it. (If he asks. He hasn't yet.) She's pacifistic, although she is fiercely loyal to her friends. If you annoy her or make fun or her friends, she throws daisies at you. If you do it again within a half hour or do something slightly worse, she aggreives you with trees. If you really make her mad, she will find a way to give squirrels a new home in your desk drawer, grow lichen everywhere, and get your computer playing one of her favorite songs on repeat. She's good at cheering people up and has a way of sensing when someone she's talking to is upset. She always wears a flower crown, and will try to put them in other people's hair as well.

Other: She always sneaks outside to sleep in a tree at night, and prefers flavored sparkling water over coffee, but she still likes coffee. She's Narrator Melville's apprentice

Melville is named for the author Herman Melville.
I basically gave the most shortened form of his backstory possible. It's rather long.

The narration he's seeing is probably us doing rp stuff. Malachi is named after a character from Sentinels of the Multiverse. I imagine that he was given the name by a mentor that disapproved of the one he wanted and will be attempting to change it as soon as he's a full ranking Narrator, rules be darned. |

Background/Personality: The newest bearer of a line of Ghost Narrators, Erasmus has inherited the namesake of a long legacy of G.H. Hedrons only recently with the passing of his mentor, seamlessly transitioning in his new position as fast as the company of theaters would allow. Veterans of the Corps are well acquainted with a Hedrons intense focus on colors amidst the narrative, leading some in the community to believe hidden messages or codes were being woven into the plot. Perhaps out of his professed love for the suspense genre Erasmus has not refuted such claims. In person he has proven to be a pleasant and articulate speaker, though has been rather insistent on ensuring that only those who would need to know are aware of his personal details beyond the role he has taken.
Nationality: European at least, possibly Grecian.
Other: The traditional garb of any G.H. Hedron has largely stayed unchanged aesthetically in emulating the original's tastes in fashion, calling for a refined garment of the time accesorized by a half-cape, a facial covering such as a mask, and a tricorne hat. As a personal touch to distinguish himself from his predecessors, Erasmus has chosen to pin a white flamingo feather to his hat.

Melville puts down his guitar and looks thoughtful. "I agree. Where are all these new Narrators coming from, anyway? This isn't exactly the most popular of professions. I've only met one person in my lifetime who wanted to be a Narrator when they grew up."
I never expected this to get such a great turnout.  Cool reason to name somebody. I can see Malachi trying to change his name to something long and British-sounding. |

Pantages puts another flower crown on Malachi and shrugs. "Maybe Wildwood made the Narrator Corps famous through those Interviews he narrated for all I know. Ooh that reminds me I need to try to build a cabin!"
They're Narrators and they're awesome.
Also Pantages has several non-Narrator friends in the city and they will occasionally spam her mailbox with stuff so if she references something then that's why.

((Oh I think it's there. Cue Pantages trying to throw daisies at whoever just confused/scared her mentor through the phone because she has no clue what's going on))
Pantages, confused, begins to pluck daisies and throw them at the telephone. She still has no idea who's on the other end, and is unintentionally throwing daisies in the morse code translation for "kumquat" as they each hit the phone with a soft "whump".
