Well, I'm at the part where Sisyphus is fighting Ailacos (or however you spell it).

Woohoo, Sisyphus! I feel like if Sisyphus just tried standing too close to his enemy, then turning around fast, he could take people out with minimal effort.

But then he risks the close-range attacks the specters might have. Also that'd make things too easy and authors can't have that

True, true. "It can't be too easy" is the main reason ANYTHING happens in Romeo and Juliet. There are so many simple ways they could just save themselves, but it's like they're completely blind. You can see the ending coming a mile away. In short, no amount of Willing Suspension of Disbelief can save that play.

Well not only the fact that they're completely blind to alternative options, but also the fact that everyone told you the ending beforehand. At least in my case. I'm going to draw a Specter trying to sneak attack Sisyphus now and him defeating it with his wings.

That sounds wonderful. He gets stuck in something due to his wings later in the Virgo Interview 4. Let's just say that the TARDIS has very narrow hallways...

I'm on the part where Hades says that everyone will die in the Lost Canvas. Chapter 137 I think?

About, I think. I blew through it, so I barely remember chapters, just what happened. When he said that, I kind of started noping the first time I read it.

I recall screaming "THE GOLD SAINTS CAN'T DIE!" repeatedly until my family came in to ask if I was alright.

I just am noping quietly over a long time. Hopefully I won't get too many weird looks.

That's not something I can do when Saint Seiya is involved. Case in point: When Soul of Gold was announced, I ran through my house screaming "SAINT SEIYA IS BACK!"

Nice.
I have not yet reached that level of obsession, but it's sure to come soon. Of course I'm in so many other fandoms that it might be offset.

Keyword being "yet". I find it easy to stay obsessed with my many fandoms. But that's because I literally have no life. I think Sky's getting dangerously close to me levels of Saint Seiya obsession because a) she can actually recognize the characters, and b) she was so excited that her favorite saint showed up in the Virgo Interview that she screamed his name at the top of her lungs in the middle of the cafeteria.

So do you think Athena is starting to awaken?

Then there's no hope for either of us. Yes. The face murdering and commands are getting more frequent. She's definitely awakening.

Do you think she could possibly hone the face murdering technique to use against Hades? Also should we find Kardia and send Athena on a random trip to Mexico?

Possibly. Yesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyes! Kardia's is my favorite gaiden, hands down. Although I've only read two. I plan to read the others with the help of Google Translate.
