I concur. What's the point of fancy machinery if we can't break it?

You completely disregard the fact that you have no protection on your knuckles and throw a punch at the machine. Not the best idea. You retreat to the corner to cool off your fingers' burning sensation while the rest of your party checks out the dent you made in the machine's casing. "Looks rather sturdy, I'd say..." Marshall slides his finger across it. "Silky smooth too. Still, I think we should follow Ace's lead here and smash this machine-er-y." Amanda and Apollo both nod and shrug in approval. With that decided on, Marshall picks up the kitchen sink and slams it into the machine, effectively startling you into turning around and looking at the crack he made in the stupid casing. "S'all yours." You grip the sides of the crack and pry the machine open, revealing a web of wires with some glittery chips in the center of them. But you don't stop to preserve them to maybe see what they are later, NO, you SMASH IT INTO A BAJILLION PIECES HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Apollo and Amanda zap it and step on it a bit but it wasn't you so you don't feel it's that important to mention. And by you you mean me as in I as in "I felt that if I were to go into great detail about this I'd goof up or something". Before too long, the machine is a crumbled hunk of chip powder and fried circuits on the floor. NOW what do you do?
Isra slowly moves just out of the sight range of all the rock-beings in the room. Or at least she's hoping she is. For all she knows these could just be waiting for her to be in a less escapable scenario. She finds a comfortable spot behind a rock, though when she hides behind it it feels warm. She taps it, and deduces it's not a real rock... just a tangible illusion from the room. "This must mean this is not a real open area. Just an illusory outside space. Seems like it would be good for training, though... Is that what I am seeing with these creatures?" Isra's question is answered for her when a sudden voice from... somewhere speaks as if a person talking through a machine. The voice is rather nasal and annoying. "Alrighty, test training day 3. Rocks, attack... ah... oh wait I forgot... *mumble mumble*" The voice goes away for a moment, but then holes open up in the "sky" and drop down a larger number of people-sized dummies. Directly in front of Isra. The voice comes back. "Okay Rocks attack targets group A." The monsters turn towards the targets, and Isra gets a good view of the big one she was trying to see. It's front, contrary to its back, is fleshy and looks like normal biological life. Except it doesn't look like anything from... well, anywhere. Its skin is an orange-red and it has a long, rock covered snout. It has strange, pupil-less eyes that are a bright-yet-pale purple. If anything, it's scary. Isra really should get out of there, but with the voice... she probably can't leave without being spotted by whatever the voice is. So she just watches from behind the fake rock...

My fingers feel like rubbish today. I made SO many typos during this update and had to go back and correct them. Though I'm really content with the content here OHHH DOUBLE WORD MEANING(S?) You grab the nearest stack of paper and examine it for the sake of science. Though you're much too impatient to get through all of it that you just hand it to Amanda and Apollo, of whom are already brain-munching through a sizable stack of the things. Probably for science. You go to the other side of the room and proceed to quick sketch, *ahem*, "science kittens" on any paper you can find before then flash-incinerating them. In the words of Marshall: "Uh...". Dunno why he's so puzzled though, you're doing this in the name of science. So now you have a whole half of the countertops in the room covered in ash science. The power of science courses through you even stronger now, and there's only one thing left to do. Directly in front of you lies a big, shiny, red button in the wall. You push it in the name of science... though nothing seems to happen. Science, where are you?? You now decide to read what the big yellow label above it says. "DISABLE" Curses. You think. Amanda panics about your previous works of science as you ponder hypothesize what it could have done... ... ... "FOUND YOU!!!" A zap goes off in your head and you feel a light *bink* hit the back of it. It's Min! (if Min was a vehicle I bet it would've been a CARBINK *asplodes*) "...! Hey y'guys! Look! We found Min!" Marshall signals over the rest of your party and Min gives you the gist of what happened. "So what about Isra?" Asks Apollo impatiently. "Oh, Isra. She's right behi--... whoops. No time to waste, come with me!" So will you follow Min in the name of science? Anything you may or may not have missed here?
Isra shortly considers trying to throw a likely very heavy fake rock stuck to the floor, but... yeah. The other "rocks" that were there all flash purple light-looking things on their chests and blast all the targets to pieces. Wait. "The other "rocks" that were there all flash purple light-looking things on their chests and blast all the targets to pieces." What??? "These clearly are not normal... moving rocks..." Isra begins to doubt her own thought process of thinking that. The voice goes again, "Hoo! That was sweet! We'll be done here in no time. Okay, behemoth alpha-six, attack..." *click* "this target." A HUGE block of a target drops down with a CLANG. Must be a different kind of target... Isra sees the bigger monster; "behemoth", pull it's body back and prepare to strike... but as it does it's eyes go totally deep purple and it crumples to the ground and lays there. The other "rocks" follow suit. "WHAT?!?!" the voice shrieks. It goes silent for a decent moment. Isra decides now is a good time to make her escape...

You decide to follow Min, purely for science. You think about giving Isra a science wedgie when you find her 'cause she's distracting you from the science... Actually now that you're actually out of that room you decide to not do that last part. The chase after your more obviously sentient Follow Ball is, to no surprise, very lengthly...
Isra makes a mad dash to the big door and struggles a bit with the machinery, checking behind her every second. She does this until she hears a satisfying click, but as she looks behind herself before she's about to open the door, she see's a part of the back wall move. Her instincts force her to hide behind the crate she found at first. "What is going on?" Isra thinks to herself (as usual). She peeks around the crate after a moment...
You end up in a hallway with big, closed, machiney doors. "This is the place... something bugs me about what could be in here." You feel a rather ominous tone from inside... you turn to ask Marshall BUT you lost him. And everyone else in your group. You sigh to yourself and Min... "What? It's your call this time." Do you go in now or wait for everyone else?

Be the brave trailblazing hero and charge valiantly into the blatantly ominous doorway, but at the same time be the wise and compassionate leader by ensuring Min isn't blindsided from behind by entering in a rearguard formation. For safety naturally.

Hoo boy I'm gonna have fun with this! The voices in your head tell you to be a brave hero (Okay, pause, just until reading this part over that said "rave hero". I find that funny.) and rush in to help Isra by busting the door down, putting Min just slightly ahead of you. Isra's startled by the sound of a door busting down, she looks over to see... ah... name... that Ace person! She's hidden from sight from him and Min, but the wall continues to move out. It's taking an almost egg-like shape... You look around for Isra but can't find her. Your attention is quickly drawn, however, thanks to Min, to the big egg-looking thing coming out of the wall. You probably wouldn't know it was a wall because everything else is realistically colored to feel like an outside area. This means the ceiling isn't too high up either. There are a lot of rocks everywhere, but all you can do now is just watch as the machine comes out. The bottom half looking like the bulk of its machinery as it pulls free of the wall, it's round dome finally goes clear. Isra looks at the person controlling the machine, of course it's one of the trio. She'd rather not refer to them as her former clients now, but it's obvious that this guy is the same voice on the speaker before. Not because it talks, but because his face is a mix of anger and frustration due to recent events. Surprise is now added to that mix when he sees Ace. "... gah! You!" the machine person announces upon seeing you. "You did this!" You try to ignore the fact that this guy probably wants to kill you and play a dumb card. YOU HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS-- "Nice try, but I know you're the one who disabled the rocks. Why else would you be down here now unless you were trying to first, disable the rocks, second, break down the wall and get into the main control room??" "(Well that saves us from having to talk to him. GEEZ his voice is horrible.)" "Wow this guy is... very bad at picking words. Did I actually agree to help him before?" Isra thinks. She then realizes she should help Ace by getting his stuff to him. She takes out the wristband he was wearing earlier and tries to think of a way to get it to him... when the time is right. The guy then notices Min. "... *BIG GASP NOISE*! The superencyclopedia!" He attempts to grab Min with (what you see now to be) big machine hands from the machinery part of his mech. You dodge the first and aim a precise chop at the second, smashing it in two. It falls to the ground and the guy looks legitimately surprised for a moment before a sinister smile replaces his expression. You look at the hand as it melts into a puddle of metal sludge and disappears. A new one grows in its place. "Wow. We should bring back <insert name of Ruby's humanoid species here> transformation for people with power like you. Good hustle, but this things was made with opponents of intense power in mind! There's no way to break this! Just give up!" Ha. What a joker. Your move! Distorted Tent Boss: Shenanigans Three-oh Restarter Mech Shenanigans Three-oh Restarter Mech: 5/5 Armor, ???/??? Hmm, a boss with an unquantifiable specification. In any case even if it wasn't blatantly obvious how much of a waste of time it'd be to fight this machine, Amorphous enemy types generally come with a critical weakpoint to aim for rather than the more directly threatening body.
Instead of the wall of regenerating metalmeat, work on punching the guy out over at the control panel, possibly hijacking it for yourself afterwards because that would be awesome. If we assume that that burly armor rating is the potential for the metal gel to solidify to defensive plating, the best strategy is to Counter the enemies attacks back at the opponent(or specifically the opponent's pilot) and break into that dome rather than making our intentions too obvious and putting the pilot on the defensive too quickly.
Start by getting some Fire up going first as we tank out the next few rounds.

As usual, Fire Up followed by a scan is your opening move. As Min flies circles around the guy for a scan, you eat some brain food. Specifically, your Jammimocha. (let's face it, nobody remembers what that does, including me) ... You get jellyjam powers again. You use your new temporary abilities for a jellyscreen so Min can give you scan results. "This thing is a solid mech, for now all we can do is wait for it to lose power. Try anything that can strain its circuits so you can do some damage to the dome. You're not going to be touching that things with the mecha-arms flying at you every which way." *ENEMY STATS UPDATED* You decide to focus on getting the guy out of the mech so you can control it, because that'd likely get you into the control room where it came from. All of a sudden, your Fire Band drops at your feet. Where could that have come from? Either way, your jellyscreen is wiped up and your enemy is coming at you again. It seems to have lost some power due to the jellyjam. You put on your Fire Band. That was a good turn. Next move?

You crack your knuckles in excitement for an excuse to go all-out. When the mech gets close, you jump up into the air and spontaneously combust. Planetbox: -0.2 success point(s) GAME OVER Continue...? Wait... what? Why? How? Actually scratch that last one but WHAT??* ~~blurbleblurbleblurble~~ You crack your knuckles in excitement for an excuse to go all-out. When the mech gets close, you EAGLE COUNTER it. Okay more like punch it head-on, but same thing. The mech totters backwards, creating an opening for you to rush up and EAGLE ONSLAUGHT it. It takes 0 damage, but your firey fury burns it good and it loses power. You can hear the guy inside scream in rage at something you can't pinpoint. This job can NOT be good for one's mental health. You wind up and sling one more Eagle Punch at it. The triggered explosion makes it roll across the floor, causing the outdoor illusion in the room to drop for a second. It soon goes back up and the mech lights up again and begins floating once more. The guy screams, clearly at you this time. "You--you idiot! Do you know what harming this thing could do to the room? To my job?? Just stop! I can recharge this thing whenever I want... stop smashing it, ya dumb. Now hold still!" You ignore him and check the convenient note that you just dealt 7 damage. Cool! You are making progress! The guy moves a control stick in circles, and one of the mecha hands extends. What could he be trying to pull next?
Shenanigans Three-oh Restarter Mech: 5/5 Power, 193/200 HP
Ace: 75/75, 2.5x Atk/Def, Jellyjam powers (Majerble's Mask not usable) -- Isra is rather proud of her throw. Accurate and stealthy, just like her. She peeks over the crate and sees the battle... aaaaaaand she immediately regrets trying to rob Ace and his party in the first place. The way he fights is a mark of a merciless fighter... She watches and hopes that he wins. Where is the rest of his party...?
*No hard feelings, Planet.

For some reason I feel these actions really resonate with me. Let's see if I can put that feeling into this update... Isra felt pretty confident with her last throw, so she takes out the mask Ace was wearing before out of the bag and sees if she can throw it to him. She holds it like a horizontal frisbee just above her hiding spot, takes aim, and flicks her wrist with strength and purpose... -- You do what the guy says, for some reason. You're also surprised, for some reason, when he grabs you with a metal arm for 5 damage and hoists you into the air by your legs. You hear him laugh, and feel something tingly behind you. Of course, you have some plans and aren't gonna let him just... do... whatever. Wow it's weird not being able to see attacks. "Ahem." Ignoring Min you try to feel the sensation and wait until it gets stronger... stronger... stronger... NOW!! Ever so dramatically, you point behind you and shoot jellyjam at it. Whatever it was, it's stopped and you get dropped. The guy screams angrily, but before he can something else you jump at him and draw a mustache on the dome of the mech. You see a vaguely familiar mask fly out in front of you from the left, so you push off of the mech and grab it out of the air and throw it at the mech on the jelly mustache you made. It hits dead on, and you use the chance to move while the mech is stunned from your sweet moves. You Eagle Eagle the mech, whatever that means is up to interpretation but it WORKS! The mech loses power once again, but it still hangs on. What will you do now?

You jump into the air and Eagle Punch the mech from the top-down while the guy is inputting buttons. He crashes into the ground, causing it to make a horrid metal sould and shake, making you lose your balance on top of it. It still lost power, though, so you regain your balance and run up to it before delivering an Eagle Downercut-kick to the dome for 8 damage. You hit right at the vulnerable spot, but no physical damage is visible on the outside quite yet. With that said, Min pings you. "I think he realized having to punch buttons so much leaves him open, now his mech is on semi-autopilot. He's going to go a lot faster now, good luck trying to hit him for big damage, even though now he has more power being used." "I'm gonna go a lot faster now, you little BUG!" Who would'a guessed? His mech floats back up and now it's arms are out and seem ready to hit. You pick up your mask and put it on. (not that it'll do anything right now anyway)
