As the title states, this is a thread for discussing games that you have recently played. The title says it all, actually.
Other than playing (but not yet beating) Mega Man 2 recently, I've played this short MC Escher-esque game called Monument Valley that's for iOS and Android. While the storyline is weak and somewhat mysterious at best, it forces you to think outside of the box, which is fun. Also I've been playing Osu and Town of Salem, but that's not new.

Most recently I've been playing Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. It's a nice game where you draw to guide kirby as a ball, and do other fun creative stuff. It takes awhile to control kirby properly, because you have to tap on kirby to get him to move, make the line, accelerate kirby, among other things. It gets kind of annoying that I don't notice tha kirby's facing the other way when I need to guide him into a collectable and suddenly he goes the opposite direction and screws up. This has kinda been a problem for me the entire game, haha where I just can't properly control kirby because of how the game works so I can't be precise. The waddle dees though, are. I even lost to whispy woods multiple times! Today I stopped after getting a game over at the first level of this lava world because the puzzles involved a lot of trial and error, since the lava's insta-kill. You have to like, manipulate the lava, ride gondolas right below and around lava, ride on the gondolas WHILE manipulating lava praying you don't screw up and accidentally die, etc. overall it's been a pretty fun experience because of the main concept, and how everything looks cute in clay and the humor from stuff like trophy descriptions. I just hate it when I miss a journal piece at the end of each level because of the reward wheel turning and kirby being erratic. I have to like, replay the level once or twice to try again.
Oh and the ost is phenomenal you should hear it sometimes

I should play that.
I've been playing Majora's Mask recently, although school is getting in the way of my quest to save Termina. I'm at the part where you're taking the boat ride to get to the first boss. The three day mechanic throws me off a bit because I tend to do a lot of exploring rather than normal questing but it's still fun.
I've also been playing Flight Rising. Because dragons.

I've recently been playing Super Mario Strikers on GameCube which is actually really fun. I find it amusing that Toad can tackle Donkey Kong like he's nothing.

I've played Monument Valley too, actually. They released a new set of levels that you can download for it. Recently I've been replaying Super Mario Galaxy, playing Kindgom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix, Fire Emblem Awakening, Majora's Mask 3D, and The World Ends With You. There are also all the other games I haven't finished, but keep forgetting about.

I don't think I've played the DLC for Monument Valley, but I'm hoping to sometime.
I'm currently working on Majora's Mask 3D, and stalling on A Link Between Worlds, Super Mario Galaxy, Thomas Was Alone, and playing Tera with my friend.

I don't really know if this counts, but I just yesterday played One Chance and March. And cried during both. Emotions of steel, that's me. T-T

They're two online flash games, very short and very sad. One Chance is a game where you have only one chance to stop all the living cells on earth from dying. Your choices in the game will give you different experiences. It's essentially a game about ethics, and you can actually feel really bad after the choice you make in that game. I gotta say, I didn't expect to cry. March is a game about a relationship. It's very simple, and mainly contains a lot of running and jumping. But the story is the saddest thing I've ever read. I won't spoil it, but I HATE WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO BEAT THE GAME! It's horribly sad.

I just played both, loved March and hated One Chance. Both had amazing ways for making you feel bad. The only reason I hated One Chance is that you also only have one playthrough. As someone who just got back from 100%ing Nightmare in Dreamland, I was angry to see that there's no way to see the other endings. Sure, that defeats the whole purpose of the game, but audino.

In other news, I've been playing Klonoa: Empire of Dreams! It's pretty fun!

I recently discovered a copy of "Shrek 2" for the Game Boy Advance.
Don't ask questions.

I've been playing Alice Mare, a game made in Wolf RPG Editor, and it's pretty fun.

It is! The storyline is Alice In Wonderland, and there are mini stories that are based off various fairy tales.

I just read up on some of the other endings, and I realized how flawed the game was. I did everything right to get the good ending except not talk to someone on day 1 which wouldn't affect the ending in any way...

That's annoying. I felt like I got pretty close to the good ending myself, which was really frustrating. March is a good game though. I think I cried at the end.

I finally got around to playing Layton: Last Specter, and it's pretty great so far, although I just started despite owning it for probably over a year haha
