Shmu's on Chapter 14 now? How long do you think it'll take Shmu/Degel to finish?

Probably not long. It's a relatively easy manga to speed read.

Well I know THAT. I've been reading for 2 or 3 days and I'm on chapter 132! And that's around other stuff that people force me to do, like homework.

Yeah, it's just one of those manga.

Yeah.
I need to get used to drawing armor without references. I was going to draw Kardia with the waterbottles, but then we couldn't use our Chromebooks in Science. COME ON!

It's okay, I'm still not used to it. So I normally draw the guys wearing just normal eighteenth century clothes.

I typically draw them with armor. Well for the one time I've drawn not-Pokemon Saints so far, that is...

Armor is a pain to draw since I'm such a perfectionist. If I get even the tiniest detail off, it bugs me so much that I can't rest until I correct it.

I typically just do what I did with hair: remind myself that I'm not a good artist yet, only an okayish one, and try to cut myself some slack. I'm normally a perfectionist too

Armor and hair and hands- everything that's wrong with my art compiled into three things.

Don't worry I can't draw hands or hair either and the armor is only somewhat okayish

I've never dabbled much in drawing (seriously, the best I've ever done is just copy other work), but what I've noticed for me is that eyes are literally THE WORST. I remember once drawing Link, and then having to scrap the drawing because the head was just eraser marks from my constant eye fixing.
Personally, for me, I'm more of the computer guy, with an absolute love for classical music (oh and Joe Hisaishi. He is amazing.)

That's why it's so much easier to just draw chibi versions of everything. I'm more of a sciencey guy, so I'm not really creative in any sense of the word, unlike everyone else. ; -;

I'm interested in both computer programming and drawing, which is why I plan to develop video games, because the interactivity and the story basically HAVE to intertwine.
I typically use incredibly light pencil marks, so the eraser can erase them without leaving marks. I can't draw realistic ANYTHING, but I'm pretty okayish at manga style artwork.

I draw in really loose, cartoony manga much of the time, but occasionally go for more detailed stuff when need arises.

I tend to change the manga style I draw in on a whim, but it's mostly semi-realistic proportions.
In other news, it was 70 degrees about 5 days ago and yesterday it snowed.

I don't mind going outside and running around so much as long as it's something interesting.
The other day my friend and I walked to GameStop to get steam gift cards and Majora's Mask

Cool! *cries because lives in middle of nowhere* The closest place I can walk to is the reservoir. Woohoo, water! Leech-infested, branch and leaf-filled, insanely cold water! Sounds like a great place to go for a swim! ...I hate that stupid reservoir.

You should move to Athens.
Why do you hate the reservoir???

I should do that. But Greece is in serious economic trouble. My friend did his World Tour project on Greece, and he had the National Debt clock (basically a site that shows how the national debt is increasing) going for it, so we were just eating pita chips and watching it skyrocket by his display. I hate it because leeches. *shudders* They said it was clear to swim in last summer, but I saw a leech in there just swimming around and looking to have a snack, so I didn't ever go there again.
