Sup! For those of you who have no idea what an OTCD is, it's basically a thread where you can discuss whatever is on your mind, like a more permanent version of the IRC or Shoutbox. It is not a thread for spamming, or a thread for arguing/being unkind to people.
Since I have the intro out of the way, let's have our first random topic: Has anyone had any snow days this winter?

I haven't. My school district is one of the last to close if there's a need to close. We don't even have cold days when the wind chill is above -40. Pretty much all the districts in the state except us and a few others were closed.

Yeah, school was cancelled a few times because it was too cold. I hear a couple people in my area actually contracted hypothermia because they weren't dressed warm enough.

...Wow. The question is, though, exactly how cold was it? We had school cancelled a few times for cold during the polar vortex last year, which had -40 degrees with -60 windchill, and then this year the school didn't close for -30 windchill.

We've had a couple snow days so far, pretty significant amount of cold and snow. I think I have a mini-break coming up this month which is pleasant.

Apparently if the state governor calls off school it doesn't count against your required school days, at least from my experience.

Around where I live, we've got snow days abounding! Yes, we're up to our necks in snow days! In fact, there's another one coming up this Monday!

This year was weird so far for my state in that there wasn't that much snow and it isn't really that cold.

Listenonrepeat didn't work for me when I was using it on Android. I was playing a 4 minute video in the background, but it stopped halfway through.

I don't have a YouTube account, so I can't make playlists or find one that has everything. (I have kind of random tastes in music. It depends on what I feel like listening to.) Plus, it saves me from having to swap between windows when I'm trying to work on a story.

I just use the DJ room thing that Keeby made. Other people can use it too so they can share their music too. I probably use it the most out of everyone currently though.

Then there's me, who never has time to do anything except write because if I don't work on that story for my friend soon, she's going to "murder my face". I like my face in it's un-murdered state, so I'd best get to work.
