True, but I have to ask. That way I know nobody will get all offended if the water is leech-free.

Good point. There may be a leech deficiency in California.

I've actually never been to a convention like that, so I dunno what it's like. Sounds fun though.
In other news I am tumblr trash I've done nothing but go on there for 3 hours.

Really? I spent three straight hours just staring at my computer screen in awe after the awesomeness of Soul of Gold broke my mind.

Yeah conventions are fun. Especially running around in character. At MetaCon when I was cosplaying Mary from Ib a random Karkat cosplayer helped me steal Garry's rose XD
Then there's me, who spent 3 straight hours bleh-ing at a movie that I have to watch ;-;

I think I'll enjoy that. Although learning to run in cosplay armor will be interesting, since my first cosplay will probably be good old Saint Seiya. I do that all the time with assignments.

Don't make the mistake I did with my 6th grade Halloween costume. Remember to actually include joints where they are, so you aren't stuck in one position. I tried to use one piece of cardboard for the chestplate, and it was so uncomfortable.
I'm stressed about this assignment because it's summative and due Friday and bleh

Duly noted. I don't think I could do that even if I tried with saint cloth- too many details. Blargh summative assignments and blargh due Friday. What do you have to do for it?

It'll be hard to do but hopefully it works.
We have to take notes on characters, answer questions about the plot, write character descriptions of Peter, Arvid, Thomas, Emil, and Head gestapo guy, write about the 2 most significant events, and make s timeline of 10 events.
Any help would be appreciated because I think this project is making me go insane.

Well, for important scenes I'd write about Peter and Thomas joining the Hitlerjugend because that was really where everything went south, and Arvid's death because that was another turning point in the film and it was really what pushed Peter to really stand up for what he believed was right. And for brief character descriptions: ARVID: Arvid originally just wanted to be able to play his music as far away from all the politics of the time as possible. He seemed to be a bit of an outsider in the friend group due to his limp. However, as the film progressed, he became angry and frustrated that his friends were embracing Hitler's regime. Arvid was the first of them to try to speak out, but his methods ended up getting him nearly killed. In the end, dispairing that his friends and life will never return to the way they were, and knowing that the time is coming when even his beloved music will be taken away from him, Arvid commits suicide. PETER: Peter is frustrated by the secrecy surrounding what happened to his father, and is originally content to just go to swing clubs at night. His sense of right is often clouded by the fear of losing what he has and having what happened to his father happen to him. When he is caught stealing the radio and forced to enroll in the Hitlerjugend, he originally uses this as a cover to moonlight as a swing kid. However, he becomes more fearful of what he's become a part of when he is forced to spy on the bookseller he works for and is also encouraged to spy on his family. In the end, he realizes that his life is falling apart, and goes to a swing club which is scheduled to be raided by Nazis. In the end, he is dragged away screaming "Swing Heil!" indicating that he hasn't compromised his identity. THOMAS: Thomas is reckless and often callous, but incredibly fearful as well. He is very harsh to Arvid and on occasion, Peter. This stems from the conflict he has with his father. His father puts him down frequently, treatment his mother only halfheartedly tries to defend him against. When Peter joins the Hitlerjugend, he ends up embracing the Nazi ideology, even going as far as to report his father for speaking out against Hitler. Once he realizes how easily the Nazis can take somebody away, he tries frantically to persuade Peter to join him. In the end, he and Peter fight at the club, and Thomas begs Peter to run away. This shows that inside, he's too afraid to speak out for what he once believed in. Thomas is an example of how pressure from society and your peers can change you in ways you would never expect.
I can't remember who Emil is, and the head Gestapo guy's character was pretty cut and dry.

Thank you so much! Emil is the guy who continues Thomas to embrace the Nazi ideology and report his dad, and you're right, just the head Gestapo guy doesn't show up that much, so... To be honest when I saw their names in script format before reading it fully I thought it was a script of them making fun of the movie

I wouldn't do that, simply because you seem stressed about that project. Besides, gold saints give me better material to work with for scripts. THESE GUYS ARE GIVING ME NOTHING! NOTHING!

Well it would've made me laugh and maybe take the project a little less seriously than Degel would.
Good point. The most you can do is insert them into a script for a line in the background. Otherwise the script wouldn't be funny!

I'd have tried, but like I said, they give me nothing! THOSE GUYS JUST AREN'T FUNNY! THEY COULD STAND TO LEARN SOMETHING ABOUT COMEDY FROM ASMITA! ASMITA!

Now you should try to make a script of Asmita trying to teach them comedy with Kardia constantly correcting him.

That was interesting. The last major convention that I went to was PaxEast 2012, where I literally only came in for the Runaway Guy's Thrown Controllers. And now I need to prepare for the Biology Keystones, and a final project in English and Visual Basic, bleugh.

Those sound cool! I tend to go to more anime conventions than gaming ones, but there's usually a game room set up.
Bleh final projects blehhhh

I have yet to attend a con because I've never had any opportunities to go, really. Indeed, blehhhhh to final projects. May they return to the darkness of the pit from whence they came.

I recommend that Aspros go to a convention in the near future. Do you know if there are any in your area?
Or perhaps we could use them as a way to win the Holy War. We could throw them at Pandora to distract her?
