Before you is the Oscura Land. In search of riches, fame, and glory, countless heroes ventured here. Their target was the dreaded Reaper's Castle. But, unbeknownst to them, the Reaper had some odd ability which he used to put all his enemies into the grave...
Who are you, standing before these lands? ...also, what are you even doing here?

Your name is Tette Cetera, and you have come to rise above your status as a side character in an obscure Japanese song series!

Opening shop of course. Fighting the reaper that's scary. But all those dumb adventuring types of course are sure to be loaded with treasure as the take on the fortress.
What better way to become a rich dungeon stripping mogul than to buy and sell goods at premium prices?

Your name is Derosa Daque and you're learning the secrets of necromancy. On one hand you do so to raise an undead army, but you've dabbled a bit in restoring the souls of those who died an untimely death, so you're not TOTALLY evil, probably, you think. You need to get a lot better at the latter ability, honestly.

You are Tette Derosa Cetera-Daque. Tired of your status as a side character, you took up the ways of necromancy and armorer marketing. As a necromancer, you are the Reaper's natural enemy, and so, thinking you might be able to win with such abilities, you ventured into the Oscura Land. However, you are bold, not stupid. The Reaper is too strong for you alone. It is for this reason that instead of immediately venturing into his castle, you decide instead to open a shop within the land. Using the money from your efforts, you plan to fund your previously undead army. Using this army, you will march upon the Reaper's Castle and demand he tell you the secret to restoring the souls who died untimely deaths. But that is for a later date. No shop is complete without wares...
How will you obtain your stock, and where will your shop be? ...oh, and you need a name too. Forgot that little detail.

You will obtain your stock carefully, and will specialize in agricultural products, writing supplies, and of course, trebuchets. Oddly enough, most of these can be obtained in dungeons. Also, question why an undead army needs a salary.

Specialize in Min Potions a special concotion that instead of say healing you 50 HP instead make it so you can take 50 extra points of damage after you hit zero. Negative HP is a hot commodity in this business after all.

I second Saz’s idea, but call them “Pim Notions” because I think that sounds cooler.

But what happens when you reach -50? Sell philosophical literature to answer this question.

Not everyone can understand the deep and meaningful writings of Plato, Nietzsche, or Justin Roiland. When people come back to complain that the books you're selling them are both insightful and full of gibberish, offer to sell them correspondence courses in college-level philosophy.

It strikes you that undead armies don't really need salaries. Though, you suppose that's not really true, as you might just restore some of these souls eventually anyway.
However, your stock must be obtained carefully...perhaps it is best to start small. How about...literature? Yes, literature is perfect. You can sell writing supplies. Perhaps a tome on philosophy or two. You raise a couple of undead soldiers and tell them to set to work on building your new shop. They ask you where, and you don't really give them an answer, figuring you can make a shop anywhere you dang well please.
...ah, but there's a thought. The Oscura lands are perfect reading lands. So why not help the people survive there? They'll need some way to sustain themselves. You decide you'll stock some agricultural items (you have way too many scythes and sickles for your own good) and your famous Min Potions, which allow consumers to sustain more damage to their bodies than would normally be fatal. The thought has crossed your mind numerous times that this could just be a temporary Maximum HP increase, but no, this sends HP into the negatives. It's clearly different. You can even offer classes to teach this Negative Health philosophy.
...except you'll need a mode of defense for the shop. ...trebuchets might work. Heck, you'll likely only need, what, three? And everything you plan to stock is dime-a-dozen in dungeons anyway, aside from your homebrewed Pim Notions (a popular nickname for the potions, you have no clue how or why). You may as well sell those too.
Now that you know what to sell, it's time to gather your stock. You leave some Min Potions behind for your workers to use and sell, and decide that perhaps it's time you scoped out the land for a dungeon or two. Where will you start looking, I wonder? And what might you find? Of course, staying to witness the completion of your shop is an option, but...well, you still need stock aside from potions, I'd think

Try that spooky library down the road first. That seems like a decent place to start

Spooky library? Hm. Well you don't know where you see tha--oh there it is. Hmm...as risky as it seems, it is the first dungeon, isn't it? If you could call it a dungeon. You grab a weapon (I'll let you guys decide what that is) and head out for it. It's just down the road, so it should be a short trip, right? I'm sure you'll be spending most of your time in there anyw--oh look over there a distraction. Is that...a person? Did someone else enter the Oscura Lands at the same time as you? You look a bit closer... Ugh, this is just perfect. Here you are, venturing through the Oscura Lands, and you just get jumped by some monsters. Well, nothing for it. You're sure these baddies are no match for the great and powerful...er...wait, narrative issues here. Gimme a sec.
Who is this new friend you're about to meet? And what might they be fighting?

Tom Seywar, Battler of the ferociously affectionate Jumper Tree, which loves the world so much that it leaps from its roots to embrace any target it see.

Your weapon is a scythe, because any self-repsecting necromancer uses one. You try to keep it hidden from shop guests, though, as it's pretty scary-looking. This new person's name is Oofjoy Rippelslam, but everyone just calls him "Oscar".

The new person is fighting his inner demons. Aren't we all, dearest box of planets? Anyway... this new friend of yours seems to be fighting a Jumper Tree...they seem defenseless, so you step in, giving the thing a quick slash with a scythe you keep hidden in your back pocket. The dangerously loving plant jumps back, dodging your attack, but the battle is far from over...your attention and the tree's turned away from this innocent adventurer, it's time to fight!
...yes, that's right! This tree is no match for the great and powerful Tom "Rippleslam" Oofjoy-Seywar! Look out, world... But...wait. That tree only wants love, right? You suppose it's not so different from you...all you wanted was appreciation...all you wanted was for someone to love you...you desperately need other people in your life, and so does this Jumper Tree. Yes, you suppose that maybe-- SLASH!The sound of metal brings you to your senses. What are you doing?! These are not the thoughts of Rippleslam! Steeling your resolve and will to live, you prepare to fight. It seems someone's come to help you...their mistake. You're a perfectly capable fighter on your own! Battle Log:Tette Derosa: Attacked the Jumper Tree with a scythe, missed Rippleslam: Fought inner desire for love and affection for a bit (How does he fight, I wonder?)Jumper Tree: Just wants a hug

Tette and Rippleslam: engage in mid battle introductions, preferably while keeping vigilant of a jumper tree's hug posse.

Rippleslam: Become suddenly enamored with Tette I ship it but still do what Planet said using your signature weapons: the Dual Swords of the Mournful Dawn!

Springing into action, you engage in mid-battle introductions with your new friend, who introduces themselves as simply "Rippleslam". An odd name, you think to yourself, as they draw a pair of dual swords that have a long and complicated name that they proceed to recite from memory. You wonder briefly if you made a mistake in your choice of friends, but they rush in at the tree, sending it reeling with a flurry of strikes before slamming the hilts of the blades into it, pushing it back pretty far. Impressed with their strength, you decide it's your turn, swinging to its back with your superior agility and embracing it from behind, sticking your scythe in its theoretical chest to finish the job. When you let go, it slumps to the ground, all of that arboreal weight hitting the earth and sinking back in quickly. Rippleslam looks at you funny and you ask what's wrong, but before you can get an answer more Jumper Trees come out from behind you! You almost fail to dodge, but a quick stab to the tree's chest from your new comrade saves you, and slays that tree too. However, two more have appeared from the brush...looks like it's not over yet!
You introduce yourself to your helper as the mighty Rippleslam, and the scythe wielder introduces themselves as Tette Derosa Cetera-Daque. Seeing that they too are a connoisseur of long names, you draw your dual swords, reciting their name with the greatest pride: The Dual Swords of the Mournful Dawn! He seems unimpressed, but perhaps he'll learn the origin with time. For now, you begin your namesake, dashing straight into the Jumper Tree and initiating your signature technique!A barrage of slashes, each stroke of the blade infused with the misery of your loneliness...every movement conveying the passion you so wish to give! The Ripple of Mournful Dawn! And then, to top it off, you hold your blades backwards, forcing the blunt ends into the creature and sending it flying away! This is the force of a man determined to find companionship--this is your trump card! The Slam of a Thousand Tears! The ultimate move, followed by the best finisher...you hope Tette was paying attention. And it seems he was, as he uses the stun from your Slam to deliver a devastating backstab to the tree! You look upon the man in absolute admiration as the tree fades into the ground. Such calm, collected grace...what a way with a scythe...and his eyes, looking right at you...! ...huh? W-wait. What's wrong? Oh no...no, you've made a fool of yourself. Act natural, act natura--AAAAAA THERE'S ANOTHER ONE LOOK OUT *STAB!*Delivering a decisive blow to the surprise attacker, you take your sword out of the wood and watch this dirty cheater fall. You look around in a panic and...great. Two more. As if you needed more reason to feel bad for these guys. Battle Log:Tette Derosa: Backstabbed Jumper Tree 1 before nearly being backstabbed by JT2 Rippleslam: Used Ripple and Slam on Jumper Tree 1. Fell in love, then saved the apple of his eye by OHKOing JT2. Jumper Tree 1: Betrayal or mercy kill?Jumper Tree 2: We hardly knew yeJumper Trees 3 and 4: Appeared

Tette: Summon a skeleman or something.
Rippleslam: Suppress your bromance for this stranger you just met so your Loneliness stat does not take a hit and weaken your attacks. Only try to impress Tette a little bit with your sick moves.
