Assume the stone isn't what we think it is, but pick it up anyway.

You briefly assume that the stone is not a cool spell stone for you to pick up, but those actions fail to benefit you in the slightest, and your curiosity eventually gets the better of you anyway. You walk over to the remain of the furnace, and pick up the purple stone from the ground. Slotting it into your blade, you discover the the stone is a Poison Spell Stone. This allows you to attack your enemies with corrosive poison, which will most likely be useful. What will you do now?

Point dramatically and yell "ONWARDS!!!" ... don't forget to actually go onwards as you do so.

You shout, “ONWARDS!” and begin running out of the furnace rooms. Entrepetron, perhaps in an attempt to outmatch you, dashed out of the room and disappears around the corner before you even get halfway across, electricity flashing behind him. You let out a defeated sigh, and follow him around the corner. Jeff, Amythist, and DoomBOTy follow the two of them, but Educatron briefly stays behind. He collects the journal from the desk and places it into a small metal case he had with him the whole time but I forgot to mention, and then follow the rest of the group.
The group returns to the front lobby of EctoEnergy, walks around the desk, and enters the hallway in the right. This hallway is identical to the one on the left, and after entering the door in this hallway, they find themselves in a room just as large as the other one. This room seems to be a large laboratory. There are several lab tables scattered about, with items such as microscopes, Bunsen Burners, and containers of the toxin on top of the tables. Another large lab table sits at the back, with a large notebook lying open on top of it. What will you do now?

Go read the suspicious notebook, while everyone else checks out the lab tables.

You immediately make a beeline for the journal resting on the desk, while the rest of the group spreads throughout the room, examining the lab tables. Jeff decides to pick up some sort of device resembling a Bunsen burner and shoot himself in the face with it. He is restored to full health. Meanwhile, Amythist reads some lab notes in an attempt to figure out what chemicals they were messing with. Entrepetron pours several test tubes into a single beaker with no regard to their contents, becoming dissapointed when nothing interesting happens. DoomBOTy just rolls aimlessly around the floor and under the tables, annoyed that he can’t see the top of any of them. Educatron ignores the tables, instead following you to the journal. Once Educatron reaches the journal, he begins reading the last entry (which is set after the last entry of the other journal) aloud in a rather dull monotone.
“We were wrong. We were all very wrong. This energy source won’t save our civilization... but it does have the potential to end it.”
“After performing numerous tests on the substance we discovered in the mines, which we originally deemed would be a powerful fuel source, we discovered that it was constantly emitting strong waves of concentrated radiation. Most forms of radiation have no effect on Ectoscapians, but this kind clearly does. About an hour after we made these discoveries, most of our scientists fell extremely ill. Whatever this disease is, it is very likely that it is linked to this energy source. It seems to spread and replicate quickly. Needless to say, this disease would cause a catastrophe if it made its way into the city, as even now I’m hearing reports that some of EctoEnergy’s own scientists are perishing from the disease.
In order to keep this disease from spreading, we have to get rid of the substance. Burning it isn’t an option, as this could release more particles into the air. Our only option is to return the substance to the mine from which it came and close it off. Fortunately, we’ve discovered that the same metal alloy that the substance can’t corrode through also stops the emissions of these particles. So, we’ve stored our entire collection of the substance into a tank made of this alloy. This tank will be transported across town and back into the mine within an hour. If all goes according to plan, the general population won’t even know this bizarre disease was ever a threat.”
Educatron grimly remarks, “And that’s the last journal entry... I guess this writer’s brilliant plan met with an... unfortunate setback.”
Jeff asks, “...So I take it this disease got out somehow, and managed to wipe out the entire city?”
Amythist replies, “That does seem to be the case... It would explain why that purple substance has spread throughout this complex, and why we ran into so many dead Ectoscapians... I have a hunch that this ‘disease’ might have actually been how the substance attempted to reproduce.”
Entrepetron puts down the mixture of dangerous chemicals, and shouts, “WAIT JUST ONE MOMENT! If that goofy goopy purple stuff was strong enough to wipe out an entire city, then why are WE not dead yet?!”
Amythist explains, “It’s possible that whatever this disease was, it only affected Ectoscapians, which would mean Jeff and Steve are immune. Obviously, you and Educatron wouldn’t have been affected, because neither of you are biotic life forms.”
Entrepetron shouts, “Hey, now! There’s no need to be rude! Robots are just as capable of being alive as you are! Remember, it’s the thought, or at least the simulated thought, that counts!”
“...Anyway,” Amythist continues, “As for why I’m unaffected, I can’t be certain. Perhaps the substance has decomposed to the point where it is no longer infectious, or my time spent in the complex treatment pod gave me some kind of immunity to the disease... Either way, I’m still alive, and that’s an undeniable fact.”
Jeff mumbles, “How did that disease get out anyway? Did that metal alloy just not contain it?”
Entrepetron shouts, “OH! I know that one! Remember that wreck site we found when we first entered the city? I bet that cart with the tank on the back was carrying the disease, and when it crashed, it all got out!”
“You’re probably right...” Amythist replies, “And speaking of which, I thought there was something off about that crash site. Not only did the skid marks of the car with the tank on it seem to skid across the road and into the other lane, it seems odd that the tank on the back would have been destroyed in what was clearly a head-on collision.
Jeff adds, “Honestly, I don’t think this was just a crash either. ...Now that I think about it, I noticed a lot of scorch marks and broken rocks near where the cart made that bizarre lane crossing. It almost looked like something had been detonated there. ...I didn’t bring it up, though, because I got distracted by running into Educatron.”
Entrepetron slams his hand on the lab bench, sending a beaker of dangerous substances precariously close to the table’s edge, and exclaims, “WHOA! We’re uncovering some kind of conspiracy here! Could it be that the accident that brought the Ectoscapians to the brink of extinction wasn’t an accident at all!”
Though you had mostly been silently listening to the conversation before, this revelation is definitely worth commenting on. But before you can say anything, something grabs you from behind! After that, you decide that speaking at all wouldn’t be a good choice, at risk of hurting yourself on the electric dagger being held to your throat.
In a calm, methodical voice, your captor shouts, “Alright, everyone. Let’s try to remain calm. This is going to be very simple. All of you just need to stand in front of that lab table by the left wall, and then remain there while I escort Steve out, leave him in the lobby, and then leave myself. Simple, right? Even a goblin couldn't screw it up.”
Jeff turns to the back of the room, and shouts, “Educatron?! What do you think you’re doing?!”
“Didn’t I just tell you?” Educatron replies, bringing his dagger uncomfortably closer to your neck, “I recommend you be quick about it too, or electrocution won’t be the only thing our ‘chosen hero’ will have to deal with.”
Entrepetron responds, “Whoa, there! I want you to leave as much as the next guy, but I’m not going anywhere until you explain why an intellectual like yourself has gone all StabHappy McRobotMan.”
Educatron glares at the other robot, and calmly explains, “...I don’t have time to share my life story with you... but I will say that the cart crash was indeed faked, and I’ve been sent here to cover up that fact.” Educatron reaches behind him with his free hand, grabs the journal, and stuffs it into his bag. “For that purpose, I’ll be taking this.”
The room is filled with grim silence, until Jeff slowly mumbles, “...Just let him go. This isn’t worth losing Steve’s life.”
Personally, you seem inclined to degree, but Amythist objects, “I’m not sure that’s such a good idea... Think about it... If he was trying to cover up that car accident, just taking the journals wouldn't be enough. After all, we still know what’s in them.”
Entrepetron gives Amythist a thumbs up, and shouts, “You got it! And I’ll bet that’s EXACTLY why Educatron has told us to stand next to the lab bench containing a large vial of potentially explosive toxins!”
Jeff continued, “...And while I don’t doubt that Steve will be left in the lobby, I have to wonder whether he will still be alive when he is.”
Educatron just stares at the group in front of him, dagger still held against Steve’s neck. He seems to be considering his options. Eventually, he sighs, shakes his head, and responds, “Brilliant deduction skills, everyone. You caught me. You’ve figured out my master plan. But now, I just have one question for you.”
“What are you going to do about it?”

I don't like this guy anymore.
Have Amythist Telekinesis the heck out of him, or have Jeff go invisible and do the back-to-backstab get it?, or have Entrepetron try to short-circuit him. Is that a thing he can do to other robots? I forget.

have Entrepetron try to short-circuit him. Is that a thing he can do to other robots? I forget. According to the first post he can do something like that, but I don’t think it was ever used and it would make this kinda anticlimactic so let’s just say it doesn’t work on robots. Silence fills the room. Educatron still stands at the far wall with the knife held against Steve’s neck. Entrepetron, DoomBOTy, Jeff, and Amythist stand among the lab benches, trying to calculate their next move. Then Jeff dissapears. When Educatron sees Jeff vanish, he panics. He looks throughout the room, trying to find him. With him distracted, Amythist holds out her hand, and telekinetically pulls Educatron’s dagger-holding hand into the air. Steve uses this opportunity to break out of Educatron’s grip, and stagger back towards the rest of the group. Educatron mumbles, “That’s a shame. I was hoping I could avoid wasting energy on you people. No matter.” He holds up his left hand, charging a ball of electricity. But before he gets a chance to fire it, he hears a strange whooshing sound coming from directly behind him. Recognizing the sound, he turns and finds Jeff crouching behind him, brandishing his broom with the speared end facing forward. Educatron doesn’t even have time to react before Jeff plunges the spear into Educatron’s back. Jeff pulls the spear back out a second later, leaving a hole in the center of Educatron’s chest. Sparks fly out of the hole frantically, and the ball Educatron was charging falls to the floor, exploding in a starburst of sparks. A few seconds later, Educatron collapses forward, and hits the floor with a resounding clang. Silence once again fills the room. Entrepetron exclaims, “Hey, guys, can we pretend that I did that?” Jeff steps off of the bench, and calmly walks past Educatron’s remains. He mumbles, “How dissapointing. I expected at least a little resistance from him.” Suddenly, a loud computerized voice from somewhere in the room exclaims, “Life signs reaching critical levels. Beginning emergency protocols.” Amythist asks, “...What was that?” The voice continues, “Rerouting stored backup power. Activating self-restoration nanobot program.” Entrepetron shouts, “Oh, this is bad! Everyone get to the back of the room!” Everyone quickly walks backwards, as bolts of electricity begin to emerge from Educatron’s remains at increasingly chaotic intervals. Then, the robot begins to stand back up. Electricity continues to surge throughout Educatron as he slowly stands up. Once he’s fully upright, Steve notices that his eyes and the weird line things in his body are glowing bright yellow. Finally, Educatron channels electricity into through his hands, forming two long swords out of electricity. He then crossed them just below his face, glares at your group, and shouts, “Let’s try that again, shall we?” Jeff, standing next to Entrepetron, whispers, “Can you do that?” Entrepetron replies, “Yeah, maybe if you stabbed me first.” Educatron brandishes his swords, and begins charging straight towards you group, electricity trailing along the floor behind him. Ooh, spicy. But not entirely in the good way.
First, try stabbing Entrepetron Paint a bunch of weak obstacles for him to slice through as to see how he fights now, then counter his attacks accordingly once he reaches you. Maybe throw a blob of darkness at him as a precaution, too.

You immediately paint a large, fancy Greek column in the middle of the room, hoping this will stop Educatron or at least help you see how Educatron will fight while on his backup power buzz. Upon seeing the column, Educatron jumps into the air and dashes forwards, electricity trailing behind him. He slams into the column with enough force to cause it to topple. Your group quickly moves out of the way of the falling column, but Educatron continues riding the column to the ground, his electric sword raised over his head. Anticipating that he’s going to attempt a downward stab to one of your friends, you counter with a large blast of darkness. The attack breaks apart the top half of the column and sends Educatron flying across the room. But before he hits the ground, he suddenly dashes straight down to the floor, sending out a shockwave of electricity. Jeff grabs DoomBOTy and flies out of the way just in time, but everyone else takes 4 damage from the shockwave. While flying, DoomBOTy attempts to shoot Educatron with a bolt of electricity, but he backflips out of the way, landing on the table at the back of the room. What will you do now?

Use a combination of fire and earth to make it so the floor is literally lava. That should stop him! Paint a sticky poison blob or something if that doesn't work; use telekinesis, put up a stop sign, whatever gets this guy to stop moving long enough for someone to thwack him in the face.

Using your Earth Stone, you send three stalagmites up from the ground, punching through the floor of the building. You immediately switch to your Fire Stone, and begin heating the stalagmites up to insane temperatures. Eventually, they begin to melt, steadily forming a pool of lava at the front of the table. Educatron doesn’t seem particularly perturbed, but soon the table legs set on fire. He is significantly more perturbed about that. He glares at you from atop the table, a feat made more frightening by the bolts of lightning crackling around his head. Then, he points his fist straight at you, and shoots something from a small slot on his arm. The projectile, a small gray disc with a bright yellow light on it, lands directly in front of you. Entrepetron shouts, “BOMB!” and immediately kicks the disc to the other side of the room. The disc ends up sliding into the lava before it explodes, sending a plume of lava into the air in front of Educatron, blocking him from view. Jeff uses this quick distraction to shoot the whips in his war broom straight at Educatron. A second after the lava falls back to the ground, Educatron feels the cords wrap around his arm, and finds himself being pulled off the table with considerable force. He just barely manages to push himself off the lava-covered floor with one hand and sail right over it, but he takes 7 damage in the process, and looks even less pleased when he finally stands to face your group. Retaliating quickly, he shoots two more of the explosive discs at your group. One lands behind you, and the other lands in front of you. What will you do now?

Thinking quickly, you paint a large spiked boot on the ground right next to the explosive disc in front of you. Entrepetron immediately puts his foot into the boot, and kicks the bomb back towards its sender. Educatron is unfazed, merely sending the bomb to his right with a light tap of his foot, where it harmlessly explodes under a lab bench. Meanwhile, Amythist uses telekinesis to pick up the other bomb, and send it back at Educatron too. Distracted by the other bomb, Educatron fails to notice it sail over his head and land on the table behind him, and is thus struck completely by surprise when it explodes, dealing 10 damage and blasting him forward, over the pit of lava. Your group ducks out of the way, and he finally hits the ground about a foot behind you. Unfortunately, he springs back to his feet quickly, and begins charging some kind of ball of electricity in front of the stab wound on his chest. What will you do now?

stabby stabby the shocky ball into the robot's weakspot, everyone knows that you can damage an enemy with their own elemental affinity as long as you use it in a counter attack.

Educatron finally shoots the electric ball. You hope that you can send the ball right back at him to deal lots of damage, so you rush forward and stab it with your sword. Unfortunately, the sword simply conducts the electric ball, and you end up taking 10 damage, but at least no one else was harmed. Educatron, in a complete deadpan, remarks, “Nice.” This cutting remark harms your self esteem a little, but not enough to make a difference. However, it still makes you pretty mad. So, you shoot a rage-fueled fireball straight at Educatron’s face. He sees it coming and merely blinks out of the way. Hoping to catch him off-guard, Jeff shoots a fireball where he thinks Educatron will emerge. He misses completely, but Educatron is distracted by the fireball long enough for DoomBOTy to emerge from under a table and shoot him in the face with a bolt of lightning. The attacks connects, and Educatron takes 4 damage. In response, he aims one of his electric swords at DoomBOTy and shoots a bolt of electricity towards him. Fortunately, DoomBOTy blocks it with an electric shield, and then quickly backs away. What will you do now?

You try to use your Earth Stone to stab Educatron through the gaping hole in his chest with an earth spike, but the plan doesn’t go very well. The main issue is that Educatron is standing completely upright, so it’s difficult to send the spike out from the ground and horizontally into his chest. You try sending the spike towards him diagonally from the ground directly in front of him, but Educatron sees it coming. Before the spike reaches him he jumps into the air, rotates horizontally, and uses electricity to push himself off the wall quickly. As he flies directly towards your group, he brandishes his two electric swords behind him. He swings them downwards at lightning speed, dealing 4 damage to you, Entrepetron, and Amythist. DoomBOTy is saved by his diminutive size, and Jeff manages to fly out of the way of the attack. He shoots a blast of fire at Educatron as he sails to the opposite wall, but Educatron, perhaps expecting it, blinks straight down, breaking through a lab bench and crouching in the debris, allowing the fireball to pass harmlessly overhead. What will you do now?

So it turns out, 20/20 hindsight as usual, that silver turns out to be super conductive to electricity and is only not widely used thanks to the higher value it has elsewhere.
Given the robot is low to the ground in a pile of wrecked furniture it'd be a good idea to try keeping them there long enough to get some good hits in. Maybe get a plank or something sturdy to force them to waste time breaking out.

You immediately shoot another fireball at Educatron. He assumes that it’s aiming for him like the last one, and ducks out of the way. However, the fireball instead hits its intended target: the broken remains of the lab bench Educatron is crouching on. The wooden bench is ignited, and Educatron finds himself crouching in the middle of a growing inferno. Before he can attempt to escape, Amythist uses telekinesis to flip a nearby lab bench upside down, spilling its contents into the floor, and sends it straight at Educatron. She uses the table to pin him against the wall, while the table catches on fire from the burning fragments on the floor. Within a few seconds, Educatron is able to destroy the table with an electrically charged punch, sending shrapnel hurtling throughout the room. However, his time spent caught among the blaze caused Educatron to take 8 damage. Unfortunately, a fairly large chunk of wood from the exploding table slams into Entrepetron’s head, dealing 5 damage, and a large table leg knocks Jeff out of the air, dealing 5 damage as well. Meanwhile, Educatron jumps out of the fire with both of his swords pointed downward, and stabs them into the ground, sending a shockwave of electricity towards your group. What will you do now?
