Take your knife and throw it through the slime to make knife slime arrows of pain. Then realize you don't have any more knives...

Something dumb delayed this. It's called "puzzles, Splatoon, and losing your progress the first time 'round."
TAKE ONE: *You toss DI in the air and throw your knife at it so that both hit a Pegasus. *Neither it or the knife goes very far. TAKE TWO: *You toss DI in the air and Vincent shoots DI into a--OH MY GODS. *I...I think he just killed DI! TAKE THREE: *You have DI slime on your knife on Vincent's arrows. *You then throw your one knife at a Pegasus and miss horribly. *Vincent fires an arrow at another Pegasus, landing a hit but failing to inflict any sort of debuff. "Now can I shoot at this thing?" *NO. "Ugh, you're no fun..." "Are you two done yet?" *NO--wait who was that *Three skeletons land on the pegasi. Before you can say anything they all take out nagatinas. "And I thought Nohrians were smarter than this..." you hear one say. A translucent spirit seems to cover the skeleton. *Two more spirits cover the others. *This...isn't good. "Who are you?" Vincent asks. "And why did you call us 'Nohrians'?" "Don't play dumb, Sniper! We know you're our foes!" you hear another say. This one seems like the youngest of them all. "We're too close for you to be effective. Surrender now and we'll consider you two prisoners of war. We'll keep you alive." This one has red hair, and seems like the most mature. "Make any moves, and we'll be forced to fight back. Don't try to run, either! We have the best movement in our army!" This one has lightly blonde hair, and seems related to the youngest. Sisters, maybe? *Either way, you have a choice. You can run, fight, or accept their offer. *What'll it be? You turn to Vince-- *...where's Vincent? *Oh. He's banging on the door. Trying to get out, maybe? "...okay...I guess he's not the commander?" "No, that thief looks better suited to it. I saw him try to grab my pegasus!" *Hey, you want to ride one. Not like you can find one here. "That's probably because we have them all. You Nohrians should stick to your wyverns." "Are we sure the commander isn't elsewhere?" "At the moment, no. But this thief is the closest thing we have. So make your choice." *...you drag Vincent back to your side and ask him what the heck he was trying. "We're cornered. We couldn't fight those skellies back in Byaku. How do you expect to fight skellies with souls?!" *Well, that's why he has you guys. You have any suggestions for him? Disco Inferno: 6 Atk. *"We move to the halls. Break!"*"I see. We yield. Take us where you wish." -"Except not really." *breaks free and runs for it**I mean you could always take a fighting stance and hope you dodge well enough.Pegasus Knight CordY: 30/30 HP, 30/30 SP [Seems to be the strongest, but I think their positioning gives the others some advantage...] Pegasus Knight SumY: 20/20 HP, 40/40 SP [The most magically attuned, meaning Horizon Break may just be useless. She doesn't look too competent, though.] Pegasus Knight CynthY: 40/40 HP, 20/20 SP [The fastest, surely. But she looks easily baited too. Maybe I can take advantage?]

I'm honestly curious where they'll take us. Hopefully not to death. But if we can't fight these skellysouls I think this might be the best plan.

Follow the plan. Also we have not done a point of health so far...

They told us to stick to wyverns, so let's go find a wyvern.

I didn't hear any qualms towards the other options so you guys get Undyne then.
"...Vinny?" "...yeah?" "We move to the halls. BREAK!" *You quickly toss some slime into a torch to cause a flashbang and escape. You manage to save your slime and get into the space between the Vortex and Stardust halls before you hear flapping behind you. Seems you got a good head start but those pegasi close in quick... *You toss DI at the Pegasus Knight in pursuit to distract them while you improvise your next move--if you just rush now, you'll almost certainly be caught... *If only you had a wyvern, whatever those were. You've gotta get one sometime.
Lucky Breaks: 4/5 (You've got four shots to make it back to the End of Roads. Make them count!)
*Fight *Act *Items
[I've got two Pegasus Knights in sight. Don't know where the third is. Any ideas?]

Do the thing that's the reason DI is short for Disco Inferno. With your lucky break that should be enough to gain some more distance. Or start a dance party. Or both.

Go get a wyvern sometime. Sometime meaning now.

*You toss DI into the air and use Nova Limit, blinding the knights and causing them to fall off their mounts and onto their faces. *Running through the hall, you manage to get Koopy to update mold DI into a small winged two-legged reptile. Presumably, this is a wyvern. *Your hall-running escapades are cut short, however, when you enter the Stardust room and are ambushed by the third knight directly in front of the door. The other two knights catch up to you, but another bright idea starts to--oh who am I kidding you know exactly who's coming up with these ideas.

Do the classic "Oh look, a distraction!". If these breaks are as lucky as I think, this should work exceptionally well. (I'm sorry I'm too tired to be intelligent)

Koopario: Update. *You realize you have procrastinated a bit too much.
*You realize the Third Knight is the really easily baited one and shout [Hey! Look! A triangle!] "Huh? Where?" "CYNTHIA!" *You take this opportunity to dash past with Vincent. However, you slide on the ice just outside the exit to the End of Roads and almost get captured, but...
Lucky Breaks: 2/5 Almost there!

Grab hold of one of the dismounted pegasi and run interference so Vincent can gank one too and fly off.

Fall on your face.

*...but then you fell on your face. *Now, normally this would be a terrible thing to happen, but this makes two of the knights stop in their tracks. "...what are you doing?! Get them!" "I...I can't! The emotions you feel after tripping...they aren't just something you can shake off!" "Yeah, I don't want to cause him MORE suffering!" "Wh--but--" *You wobble to stand. In doing so, you lean on one of the pegasi. The youngest knight gets off her mount and helps you onto hers, leading you to the door and pushing you through. Sadly enough, Vincent is left to attempt to sneak by, which fails, but... "Oh no! You get back here and comfort him!" "...com...comfort?" "Yes, you heard me right! Comfort him! He's emotionally unstable now! He's your tactician, right? He can't strategize well like this!" "...with all due respect, I am your enemy. Not just your enemy, but an enemy with a bow. I could try and kill you right now if I wanted to. And you're just going to--" "We'll wait here until you get him straightened out." "...right." *Snapping out of her shock and awe, the redhead charges towards Vincent briefly before one of the others stops her. Left with a clear shot to the door, Vincent walks over and falls over too, onto his backside. No one helps him. Success! You win...nothing. *...come on, Marko. You can stop being emotionally damaged. "...Marko? Buddy? You okay?" [.......................] "Marko, come on. All you did was--" *The door slams open and the two younger knights hug you to death. Feeling their sympathy, you hug back. "You can come back any time. Okay? We don't have to capture you any time soon." [....] "Come on, mom. Let's leave him to it." *The two knights leave, closing the door softly behind them. *...oh? You're okay now? Alright. Wipe the tears. We've still got a dungeon to complete. I believe in you. HP and SP fully restored. That one arrow is lost forever, rest in pieces. Disco Inferno: 6 Atk. *Fight -Vincent for being such a bad emotional support *Act -Megaphone -Bandage -Byaku Door (Return to the Byaku Caverns?) -Ana Door (Attempt to face the Pegasus Knights again?) -Glass Dome encasing sweet numerical boosts that you can't get to (;- -Purple Chest (Still not opening) -Technicolor Fires (Red, Purple, and Blue) *Items *Summons *Mercy -Your poor emotionally damaged heart and do nothing

Do something with the megaphone.

|
Post by Koopario on Aug 1, 2016 23:47:01 GMT -5
*You decide to pick up the megaphone and sing in typical Def March fashion. Whatever that is. *Mourning the loss of the one arrow, you sing from your heart. [HELLO FROM THE INSIIIIIIIIIII--] *I've decided to skip the song for you. *You realize that this megaphone has a strange property to it, however. For some reason, you feel as if nothing can silence you. You decide to equip the Megaphone to yourself. You got the Megaphone! It's not readily useful, but I'm sure you can do something with it. It also prevents Silence and gives you a chance to resist Void Static. *Now that that's done, you...well...um. We're out of commands. Sorry but Marko's free will only goes so far. Anything you guys want to do? Everything is full and you are now emotionally repaired. Vincent has 100 bullets for some reason and 99 arrows. Disco Inferno: 6 Atk. *Act -Bandage -Byaku Door (Return to the Byaku Caverns?) -Ana Door (Attempt to face the Pegasus Knights again?) -Glass Dome encasing sweet numerical boosts that you can't get to (;- -Purple Chest (Still not opening) -Technicolor Fires (Red, Purple, and Blue) *Items *Summons

Byaku Caverns?

Post by Koopario on Aug 3, 2016 19:35:59 GMT -5
*You slowly open up the Ana Door, and look around, holding Vincent's bow so you can shoot whoever's past that point. *However, you see no one. Telling Vincent that there's no one there, you consider your options... "Well first off, give my bow back." *Done. "Second off, those Pegasus Knights are probably still out and about. Maybe those Byaku peoples are gone from that door, though...should we check that out?" *You decide that's probably for the best. You open up the Byaku Door and head on through. *Hopefully this goes better than last time.*Already you notice a lack of soldiers patrolling the place, which is good for your health and your soul. *You turn to Vincent, saying that maybe a full exploration is needed. "I agree. We left too much behind to just gloss over it now." *Keeping your megaphone, wand, and knife handy, you set out to explore the area in greater detail. Disco Inferno: 6 Atk. *Travel -Throne Room (That empty white throne still fills you with chills.) -Battlefield (Maybe those skeletons left a few things behind?) -Gate (The Byaku Door brought you in considerable distance to this. It shouldn't be too hard looking around...) -??? (Then again, that gate had to be for something. What's past it?) -End of Roads Door (You are here.)*Act -Door (We could end this super prematurely.) -Vincent (He's nice to talk to when he's not sassy.) *Items *Summons

Make Vincent sassy and then talk to him. And did the skeletons leave things behind? Only one way to find out. To the internet! Visit the battlefield.
