Hero...
...hero...
...wake up you lazy bum.
There. Rise and shine.
Your destiny awaits, hero. There stand many trials ahead of you, and many pleasures, as well.
The lord of the cosmos is coming, hero. You are one of the four I have called upon to help save this world. You must be ready.
When the stars align, a great evil will be summoned. Out of the nebula, a massive terror will emerge. Four heroes will act as the blazing sun, purging the darkness and returning ultimate doom to the infinite vortex.
Hero. Your path is, as of yet, unclear.
It can go four separate ways, each leading ultimately to another, walking directly alongside it.
Now is the time for you to choose your lineage.
*Four pillars appear in four different corners of the room.
*One glows purple, pulsating with magic energy.
*Another glows green, sending off long trails of light.
*A third glows blue, being one but feeling like many.
*The last glows red, burning with infinite might and fortitude.
*You feel compelled to choose one. But think carefully about this before you do...

Marko Don Rencar: Stardust Type, Summoner
The main protagonist, Hero of the Stardust Pillar. Known to show free will from time to time, but he will almost always follow every command, almost without fear or hesitation.
For what it's worth, Marko is a realist and an opportunist, and a tactician to boot. He tends to pick up on almost everything in a room right away, so it's really down to the narrator (read: me) to remember to list everything. He can also size up enemies at a glance and give commands to other party members, though it's not always possible to get them to do what you want...
Max HP: 100 (Heart Crystals: 2)
Max SP: 60 (Crystal Stars: 0)
Base Atk: 1
Base Def: 4 (+0 (Wood Greaves))
Base Mag: 3 (+15%(Summon only))
Base Crit: 2
Earthen Lantern: Uses Gel. Provides 5 rounds of light per use.
Summoner's Emblem: You forgot you had this, but it gives a 15% buff to Summons.
Megaphone: Prevents Silence and allows the user to resist Void Static. However, Marko's probably the best one to have this on for Void Static purposes anyway.
-Skills
-Drives
Pendant of Birthrights: A pendant you found in the End of Roads in the Fates System. Originates from Hoshido, and supposedly worn by a man named Kamui before you found it. Pulses with Stardust power that is unusable but allows you and any party members to converse with soldiers from Hoshido.
Items:
Weak CopperShortsword Knife (5 Atk, -20% KB)(Admittedly the worst weapon. Why would you ever use this instead of the Chain Knife?)
Copper Pickaxe (Digging Tool, 0 Atk)(It does the job.)
Copper Axe (Lumber Tool, 1 Atk)(Save this for later, if only to get your stolen money back.)
Gel (Material)(3)(Flammable and apparently more volatile than we know. Usable in a pinch for blazing attacks.)
Acorn (Plantable)(2)(Grows a tree. What kind depends on where you plant it...somehow.)
Slime Staff (Summons a slime. Dmg=Mag+1. 5 SP.)(Summons a slime who may or may not be called Disco Inferno. Summons one slime per use.)
Wood (Material)(Construction)(A basic material. Used to make all the woodstuffs.)
Torch (2)(Material)(Light)(A less demanding light source. Lasts forever, but you can't use other items while it's out. In a pinch, it can deal fire damage.)
Copper Ore (18)(Material)(A basic ore. You can't make any use of it without some extreme heat...)
Horizon Breaker (5 Mag, Stardust/Solar, 5 SP)(A bone wand inscribed with the word Light. Casted spells deal damage like Stardust/Solar strikes. Hits one target, then one right behind them should this finish the target. The light can be refracted to hit additional targets.)
Chain Knife (11 Atk., +4 Crit, TargetGrapple, Airbreaker)(A knife attached to a chain. This weapon has a rather long range, hits flying enemies with ease, and can draw certain enemies and targets to your location, given you stuck the knife in the right spot. However, it can be rather easy to miss with.)

>Nova Limit: 5+Light Spell SP, 5 rounds. Hits all enemies in sight using a Slime Summon to scatter light all over. Not very effective outdoors.
>Slime Ballistae: Balancing Top (Slime, Blade), 10 bullets, 2 rounds. Hits all enemies in sight with bullets, then strikes one enemy with a Slime Summon, then continues with a Normal, Advanced, or ??? Balancing Top.

Things We Know
Stardust is strong against Vortex.
Nebula is strong against Stardust and Vortex.
Judo-throwing a party member into doors sometimes makes them open despite anything that would prevent this. Sometimes, this causes the interface to malfunction if Marko is the victim.
Only one summon can be called forth with a staff.
Marko can see the fourth wall, and sometimes has sparks of independence. Oftentimes this leads to new Drives and Sleights.
Melee attacks usually deplete HP, or Hit Points. Magic attacks will always deplete SP, or Soul Points, until enemy SP is 0. That enemy will then be inflicted with the Soulless Debuff.
Slime is apparently super useful.
Magic cannot harm things that already have no soul.
It is possible to sever Marko's connection with the commanders, though so far only one person has been shown to do this.
-You can also apparently try leaving Marko of your own volition to command other people who may or may not be connected to the fourth wall, such as the Edgelord. However, they have absolutely no reason to actually follow any of these commands.
Koop has no idea what he's doing.
Vincent is the Hero of Vortex. He's a jerk, sometimes.
Anella is Vincent's friend and supposedly the Hero of Nebula, judging from Vincent's expectation to find her behind the Nebula door.
We might get a party member named Sonia?
Any Slime we summon is called Disco Inferno after the Nova Limit Drive.
Sleights do not require cooldowns but rely on the commanders (or the party) to remember them. Drives on the other hand will require cooldowns and using two or more in a row halves your Defense for the next turn.
The Dungeon is nowhere near Corroville.
There is a Guide. I guess.
There is also a Wizard, supposedly.
The Guide is slightly suspicious of you but will still let you stay in his house.
There is an Edgelord with particular interest in Marko, but apparently he doesn't care about Vincent at all.
-Said Edgelord can also sever Marko's connection with the commanders, stopping any and all narration if Marko cannot focus.
-This Edgelord also has The World, meaning he can stop time. Usually, you want to try and get a Resolve Victory, as he has 1000 HP and we aren't equipped to deal with that at all.
There is a girl inside the King Slime with more than 20 SP. She might be one of the Celestial Crusaders, seeing as you also began with more than 20 SP. This is a pretty general assumption, but then again, killing King Slime will be fun anyway so why the hell not, right?
