(authors note: shut up I couldn't make a good pun out of 'Bletchley Park' - also, this really isn't a fourm game, so I have no idea where this should go.) Hello. You have been chosen by the government to participate in this program. As you know, we are at war with the Axis of Evil, a group of nations who have no respect for liberty or freedom. Now, all of you have been chosen for your immense puzzle solving skills and mathematical reasoning. Good. You'll need them. Now, on to the task. The Axis of Evil has some of the most intelligent minds in the world creating new codes and ciphers, and now they are encoding their messages. Without the vital information that these messages contain, we are beginning to lose the war. That's where you come in. You are some of our brightest minds in the nation. We will need you to break the ciphers that the Axis's cryptographers are creating. Only then can we win this war. In fact, yes- we have a training cipher right here. Just solve this, and you will be well on your way on becoming national heroes. TRAINING CIPHERRecived: 5 minutes agoTopic: Training

Congrats! You have completed the basic training. Be prepared for the first cipher from the enemy in a few days. I don't think that's even a cipher. I just read it normally. If I'm wrong, someone tell me what cipher that is.

WEEK ONE - CIPHER ONE
Good morning, and congrats on passing training. It appears that all of you know what's simple and what's not.
Now, we've received a message from HQ about 12 minutes ago. It looks simple. It's the morning weather report that the Axis send daily.

THE AXIS FOREVER! Well I think it's at least coherent, as opposed to my other attempts.

Glorious day, soldiers!
Today's weather is fairly cold, at 50 degrees Fahrenheit. It will be partly cloudy, with showers in the morning.

WEEK ONE - CIPHER TWO
Great. Now, the weather isn't helpful to our efforts, but it might be useful to notice some main patterns in the Axis messaging.
Now, we received this telegram, 15 minutes ago. Now, their espionage works with a more complex system, but we suspect it isn't too different from this week's weather report.

WEEK ONE - CIPHER THREE
Thank you. We stationed guards at all of our major airports, those spies are sure to be caught. We can force information off them. However, we haven't touched any of the major messages we want, troop movements. Hopefully this next telegram will be helpful.
Now, we received this telegram while you were deciphering the last one. It appears to be computer generated, or made by someone with an immense knowledge of computers. After this, you can go to bed. It's pretty late. WEEK ONE - CIPHER THREE

wow tricky Topic: AXIS ASCII COMPUTER
Good Evening, Johnathan. Now, I've just got the parts for the new computer. This computer will help us tabulate troop movements and losses, and will also help the encryption of our messages. As you know, the enemy has employed it's best and brightest to break our codes. We can't risk anything. We will be moving to a new cipher system next week. Apparently it's much harder to break than the old one. I believe in France, it was one called "le chiffre indechiffrable". I'll be seeing you later to configure this. The Axis Forever

Villerar, not having received any new codes to crack for over a month, was deeply concerned about what might have happened to HQ. Then, however, he received an encrypted message:
