I didn't steal those trees, I saved them. Everyone knows it's about a billion times more efficient to use treetaps.
Of course, that's all moot if someone steals my shovel I need to re-plant them...

You dare call my state-of-the-art airship a cruse liner!? The airship Greatsilver is a brilliantly devised mobile Thaumaturge's laboratory used to capture Aura from nodes and Leylines! I simply require some time to practice flying it.
However... Now that I think about it, someone stole one of the Thaumostatic Engines... Who would take something like that without understanding it?
Yeah, this ship is totally a cannon thing I have now.

Hah! Simple microscopes can't see the intricate threads of thaumostatic energy as they interact with the Thaumic Field! That's why I took it and converted it into a Thaumoscope, or more precisely, a Scopic Thaumeter. I will gladly return it when you return my engine.
And about studying it, I would gladly give you a copy of my research, but someone stole all the notes I used to create the Greatsilver.

Oh, that's what that was? I needed to give my inventor friend an idea on what to create, and those notes seemed pretty good. I made another copy and took one for myself, here, you can have it.
...or that's what I would say if these weren't just blank papers. What happened to my copy?
