Well, here's a thread. Ib is a freeware horror game (Although more story and atmosphere based) in which you play as a young girl named Ib, who goes to an art gallery with her parents. While she's exploring the art gallery, the lights go out, and she is forced into another dimension of the art gallery where the paintings are alive, and most are hostile. From there, she must find a way out. The story is interesting, and there are seven endings. The site for the English translation is here. And to start the discussion, I'm just going to say that I'm cosplaying Mary to AniMinni tomorrow.

It's pretty awesome, and easier than FNaF to desensitize yourself to due to the RPGMaker graphics and it not really being jumpscares.

Good, because FNaF gave me enough almost heart attacks to last a lifetime.

You should say what ending you got on here. *totally hasn't memorized the mechanics for the different endings*

Would your parents allow you to use another computer (hopefully Windows, that way you don't have a confusing mess of files to deal with because RPGMaker originally works with Windows) to play it if htey helped download it?

Nah. My mom isn't big on downloading games, and my dad's computer is strict work-only.

The only other option would be to use Developer Mode to get it to run, since the accessing a remote computer thing won't work since your parents wouldn't let you use their computers... Here have a link I found.
