He's pretty decent if you ask me. There have been better Doctors, but he's pretty good for deadpan stuff.

Yeah, I guess. I'm just still trying to get used to him. It takes me some time to acclimatize to new Doctors or companions.

Seriously, you should have seen me when Rose left... I honestly wasn't that upset when Rose left. I mean, sure she was stranded in an alternate dimension, but at least she had the dad she never knew and a human Doctor to adventure/agnst with.

Yeah, I cry over TV shows wayyyy too frequently.
Worst of all, I'm absolutely pathetic when watching regenerations. It always feels to me like that incarnation is dying. They especially played this up when 10 was regenerating into 11, and I couldn't handle it.

...If we ever watch a Doctor Who season finale together, it would be a crying fest.

My favorite is probably eleven. Granted, he was also the first doctor I saw an episode with, so that affects my decision greatly.
Elevens farewell speech was great. I'm not sure where I read this, but I think Matt Smith might have written the farewell speech himself.

Out of the new series, Christopher Eccleston is probably my favorite, but I like Smith and Tennant as well. I also really like Tom Baker, the 4th doctor(The one with the scarf).
So far, I like Capaldi. It's interesting to see the Doctor take a bit of a new direction from what they've been doing recently, and I don't just mean the fact that he's old. Clara still hasn't really grown on me, but I'll probably get over it.

Tom Baker was a great doctor. Funny, goofy and just plain fun to watch. To me he's really the epitome of the classic Doctor. Funny story about that scarf, the woman who made it was given a lot of different colors of yarn. The producers thought that she would know to pick and choose colors, but she thought that she had to use all of it and created that beautiful monstrosity.
Peter Capaldi is pretty great too, and I'm with you. It's nice to see something different from The Doctor.

It's nice to see people with a lot of differing favorite Doctors on here. Whenever I discuss Doctor Who, I invariably find myself in a room full of either Tennant or Smith fans, which doesn't open up much discussion. He's different, I'll certainly say that, and I'm beginning to think that might be a good thing.
