I was the only girl in my gym class, that's why it happened the way it did.
Ayyyyyyyyyymen to all of those things. Being forced into things and being told not to do things are not my strong suits.

Yeah definitely. Like when I had to go to Confirmation Camp against my will. It was kind of fun but boring at the same time. I would have preferred to stay home and not have people randomly decide to egg our cabin while I was showering.

I guess we'll never know what happened to Walkerskaia as the post appears to be GONE!
I remember something else from that camp. My counselor was talking about Legend of Zelda and at one point he said that he hated Skyward Sword. So I ask him why, and he says something along th lines of "Well, when you've played as many Zelda games as me, you develop a standard to measure the games against. And Skyward Sword didn't meet that standard. Ignoring the fact that that was the vaguest statement I've ever heard, I was thinking "I've every Zelda game except for one. I'm pretty sure I would also have this 'mystery standard'". But I ignored that to avoid a fight, and he asked me what my favorite Zelda game was. I said Spirit Tracks, and he freaked out and demanded I pick a different game. Again I was thinking "I didn't argue over Skyward Sword, what gives you the right to disregard my opinions!"
It was bizarre. Especially strange considering he was usually pretty cool. Yeah I don't know.

Today I found a link to a RPG system based on the first Etrian Odyssey. But it's entirely in Japanese.
I'm gonna see if I'm any good at translation for a language I neither read nor speak and try to figure out how it works. It might be fun to play.

Just run everything by Google Translate. I'm sure it'll work brilliantly.
Ah, PSAT. I remember that. The only thing you need it for is National Merit and then it basically never matters again.

Yeah, it's so over-hyped by teachers and then aside from National Merit, it literally does nothing.

As far as it goes I'm going through methodically as opposed to brute force Googlygook. When I tried to learn previously I understood the ideas behind the kana and I've done decently picking out the kanji as well.
I've made great progress deciphering the terms Yggdrasil's Labyrinth, the japan title of the series, and the term "Login Tabletalk RPG Series" which seems to be the brand these books are categorized under. I have no clue what Login refers to given that the characters are identical to the common use of the word, I'm figuring it's talking about the way you fill sheets and notes that you expect from RPGs like this.

Japanese is one of the languages that I'd love to try to learn at some point. I don't have any experience with it myself, but a friend of mine is taking it. From what I've seen of his homework, it looks pretty complicated, but I think I'd enjoy it. Plus, I just like the look of the characters.

I'm a li'l youngster so id like to ask a few questions... When I get older will my cheeks get a little less chubby, and will getting braces off make my lips less puffy? Also, will my insecurity go away? I can hide it well, so it's not really hurting me, but it's still quite painful.

What kind of insecurity are you suffering from? I'm genuinely curious even if the answer regardless is "Whenever you stop caring."
If you have a dented cake pan, are you going to fret that an irregular bundt pops out each time? Once the dent is noticed either hammer it out as best as you can or learn to accept you have lumpy cakes, The ingredients going in were no better or worse then the aesthetically pleasing cakes you perceive around you, and once eaten all the cakes will end alike as well.
Presentation and taste account for little inside the range of what is agreeable. And just now I realized that using a cake metaphor to somebody asking about their body image concerns may be well outside the realm of "agreeable" I just established.
Can't hit it out of the park every time I suppose.

New issue: imagine me, coolkidette A and coolkidette B. I talk to coolkidette A quite a lot and develop quite some affection. Coolkidette B is one of her best friends. She's also my good friend Coolkidette A tells me she "likes" me Coolkidette B (like 10 different people told me she liked me - i have 0 interest) seems very concerned like really agressive and catty about it tells me all about coolkidette A being crazy and clingy and everything I'm going through with coolkidette A, but now I'm really scared I'm making a mistake I don't want to lose coolkidette B because of it watdo

Hmmmm.... I'll do my best to help since I have a history with giving (mostly) useful relationship advice. The best thing to do in any situation is talking to a person. Talk to B (in person of course, that's very important in situations like these), and try to have a respectful conversation. Explain to her that you care about her, but only as a friend and you would like to pursue a relationship with A. If she truly is your friend, then she will accept that. If not, then I recommend giving her time. Life's too short to be angry over relationships for long, and hopefully she will realize that. I don't think you're making the wrong choice, because B's aggressive behavior about the situation is quite concerning and... well, a jealous relationship partner is not a good thing. I've had one. It didn't end well... Hopefully I was somewhat helpful.

This is the somewhat long story of why some things just shouldn't be expected to translate into a roleplay very well. I call it... Quadtale: The Quest For Derailment Well that was nice and dramatic. Anyways, a few months back I had the idea of potentially running Undertale as a roleplaying campaign with a basis in the Fudge/Fate system. This system was actually the basis for most of the mechanics I'm using for Determination. yesterday I dug out the sheet I'd written the whole outline on and brought it to my cousin's house along with a bag of dice on a whim. I don't know if I really expected us to try it, but eventually I brought it up and we did. After walking some people who've never done a pen-and-paper roleplay through my character sheets, we had our party. First up was Fawn. Fawn was a cute and kind-hearted girl who enjoyed cooking. Pretty normal. Next was my brother's character. Oh, my brother's character. He always has some kind of "self-insert" in these things, or at least how he wants to be slash thinks he would be cool. Edward ended up being son of the second-in-command of a Mafia and has a eye missing. This result was reached after telling him that it made no sense for a 13 years old kid to be leader of a mafia. Looking back, this was the first sign of danger. After Edward, we had Rachel. Rachel was, and I quote, "sweethearted as a friend, but rude to everyone else." We tried to talk her player down from that, but she wouldn't have it. Immediately on the game starting, Rachel transformed into a pure psychopath. Great. Lastly, Nathan. I like Nathan. Nate was a quiet observer. He tried to stay away from people outside his group of friends, and didn't play well with others. He disliked conflict, but when the chips went down, he would put his all into fighting for himself and his friends. Nate was the best character by far. So the game begins. Immediately on waking up on a bed of flowers, the group had a argument about who landed on who and it spiraled out of control. This was out first Scene Reset. After a bit, I reminded everyone looking for a way out about the path I'd already described twice and we went onwards to Flowey. Rachel wanted to kill him. Nate was quietly suspicious. Fawn suspected nothing. Edward, meanwhile, jumped into using out-of-character knowledge. This was our second Scene Reset. It was soon sorted out, Flowey had his speech, and friendliness pellets happened. Three of the four managed to avoid them, partially by virtue of Rachel grabbing Fawn and pulling her down as well, while Nate succeeded in his roll but reached out to try and catch one. Flowey wasn't the only one to call him a idiot. Soon enough, Toriel saves the group. Rachel wanted to kill her. Nathan was quietly suspicious. Fawn suspected nothing. Edward meanwhile, vowed right there that he would cut Toriel's horns off and sell them. Nevermind that they're just normal Goat horns. We continue to the next room. Nathan tries to warn Toriel of Edward's plot, and is ignored. Three of the party proceed to search the leaves at the bottom of the stairs for traps or levers. Fawn suspects nothing. Soon enough, Nathan notices the Savepoint. He thinks the voice he hears is kind of cool, and tells everyone else. They all ask Toriel why there's a funny star thing there, and she has no idea what they're seeing. She passes it off as imagination. Turning their attention back to the shiny, everyone goes and touches it in a attempt to hear the voice Nate told them about. And then again. And again. They proceed to activate the Save so many times, Narrator!Chara gets frustrated with them and leaves. This convinces them to follow Toriel into the next room. Looking back, I should have let all of them hear Chara. And at this point, I'll leave the story off. I intend to form a branch of The Quest For Derailment here soon so we can create put own ridiculous story, but there's sure to be more from the Quadtale campaign as we keep going. Heck, I still have a bunch more I could tell now. But I think I'll wait to see if anyone wants to hear more.

Pretty funny stuff Dimitri. I hope i'm right to give your players the benefit of the doubt that their actions were greatly trimmed down, but if Fawn really was just soaking in the events without giving it much thought I may have to start sprikling it into conversations, it's too funny an image to think of surrounded by murder madmen and their suspecting loner ally.
It makes me really excited for the start of this new RP.

The biggest problem comes to scenario making I suppose. I'm not familiar with the games honestly but if you manage to do it power to you.

I could always just stay with the same scenario as the first game in the series, and get help from people making scenarios for future rounds.
I've already got the appropriate avatar for it too.

I don't really know much about the series, but I sort of have some experience coming up with mysteries for my Vesti Gates CYOA.
