North Star - a #Kun Plays sidestory

Fascinating. Truly, fascinating. I left for five minutes. Five! I thought you following any kind of script to be a lost cause, and you've done something I don't believe either of us expected: you've gone so far off-the-mark that you managed to create an entirely new mess of a path. By all accounts, this is very much cheating...but you know what? I don't really care anymore. In fact...I think I should start welcoming this spontaneity.

Forget the scripts I've been tossing your way to follow, the scenarios you've been so adamant to refuse following. If YOU'RE so confident you can do better, then do so! Create your own damn scenario!...Sorry, I'm fine. Didn't mean to lose my temper there. Please, show me what you want to do, for once.

Come to a set of two open doors, and enter the door on your left.

Return to the "Creepy Castle" in search of both, the doors and the sense of fulfillment. Keep the flag in our inventory.

You warp back to Creepy Castle with relative ease, saving on any time it would take to descirbe going all the way back there. Neat! Of course, you're no longer Moth, but honestly who gives a cluck? Ducks are fine. If you really want to be a duck...then so be it.

When you get here, you're presented with a choice of two doors: you, naturally, go through the left, knowing it to provide you the way through, as well as a sense of security and fullfillment in your life.

Except you don't.







Thinking about it, you realize I said you went through the left door before you actually did. You feel like, as a choice you didn't make, it's not very fullfilling at all, and given past experiences where you did what you pleased and were punished for it with a reset, makes you realize any sense of security through going through it is probably manufactured to some extent. On the other hand, you weren't told about what would be through the right door, and going through it and thus defying my narration may bring things both good and bad into your life that you're not sure you want anything to do with. A third option strikes your fancy to do nothing, thus defying this narration in a way that's not immediately obvious, nor as possibly bad to your current well-being.







You consider these three choices very carefully...







...That's when a fourth option comes to you.







The choice was obvious.
