Stats: Jessica "The Sleetson" Sonjya Pintrebber Inventory: Red Journal- a red journal to write your thoughts down in. Has a sketch of Incineroar on the first page. Seymour the Amaranth (attached to Red Journal)- a mysterious flower that never fades. ugh...You wake up in a clearing. Sunlight is streaming through the trees, and a few birds are chirping, though they're keeping well away from the black cat that's sitting in the tree in front of you. Sitting up, you find that a few pine needles are in your hair, and you brush them out. For some reason, your mind feels....blank. Like someone muffled all your memories with a blanket of snow. You think you like snow. The only thing you can remember is your name. ....no, that can't be right. Wait! It is! You remembered it! Quick, say your name out loud before you forget it again! [/quote]

Snow...you must like snow a lot. If you were named after something relating to snow, you might feel okay with that.

A few conflicting thoughts swirl through your brain as to what your name is. "Jessica McFlapjacks"? No, that's...that's the name of your favorite kid's show heroine! She uses the power of eating a healthy breakfast to fight evil and once they even had a crossover with another show that had a villain whose only goal was to make children be lazy and play inside and be looked up to in this one town. A bit of a cheesy show and a weird thing to be remembering now, but you think you didn't mind it. ....Especially since you had the same first name as the protagonist... ....as for middle name..... "Frosty The Sleetson"? ...no, that doesn't sound right. But "The Sleetson" is a cool nickname. A really cool nickname. And you know what? You may as well make it your cool nickname. Alright, nickname is squared away. Let's get back on topic. What was your middle name, again? It was based off a Russian given name, and had a "y" in it somewhere... "Sophya"? No, that's a twist on a Greek name. ...."Sonjya"? Yes. That was it. And now the hardest part....last name. Maybe it was...! Nope. You'd almost had it. And no new thoughts are coming to your mind either.... Frantically, you look around, hoping to jog your memory. Pine....tree....bird... ...Sounds..familiar? You focus on why the objects in that order sound familiar, and stumble upon it. Yes, your last name was Pintrebber! Triumphant at having remembered your name after 5 minutes at grasping for vague memories, you shout it out to the world. "MY NAME IS JESSICA 'THE SLEETSON' SONJYA PINTREBBER!" This startles the cat, who, having been abruptly woken up, darts out of the tree and away from you. So...you just scared a black cat. Also there's a book on the ground with a red cover. What do you do now?

Become the cat. Specifically become this:

The first thought that races through your mind is to become an Incineroar. You....don't know what that is, or how you would become one. You have a vague feeling it's a bipedal fire cat wrestler with comically huge hands, but....while you are bipedal, you are not, in fact, a fire elemental, a cat, or a wrestler. ...Darn. However, you can bluff the laws of physics. You convince the laws of physics that you are an Incineroar. While this does nothing to change your outward appearance, you can lift heavy things now, as well as shoot fire as long as you have the-- ....wait. The book.
You examine the cover of the book. It's blank, leather bound, and red. Upon opening the book, you find "Jessica Pintrebber" written in fancy lettering on the inside cover, indicating that, while you have no memory whatsoever of receiving the book, it does in fact belong to you. There's a short note in the same fancy lettering, but smaller, that informs you that you can write down whatever you have on your mind in this book, and that it might help your memories return. It's signed by someone named "Teacher". ...Odd. Anyways, the only other page of note is the first "notebook" type page. You know, how fancy notebooks have a stiffer piece of paper where the cover is and then the next page is writing paper? It's the first of the writing paper. Said page has a messy sketch of an Incineroar on it. You gently poke at the sketch, wondering when you could have made it, and a holographic crystal appears above your hand. Odd.
You then turn your thoughts to a different cat. Specifically, that black cat that ran away from you when you yelled your name. It was fluffy, and you think you want to cuddle it. Unfortunately, you have no idea where the cat ran away to. In an attempt to find it, you climb the nearest tree to get a better view of where it might have gone. There's a house in a large clearing in the woods in the direction you're looking in, and in the other direction there's a city. The cat is nowhere to be seen.
What will yo--

Bluff the laws of physics into thinking your notebook is actually Death Note.
Proceed to use the notebook as Death Note as the CYOA continues.

You decide that you'll go to the house. Cities are too noisy, you think. And besides, what if this city is really shady and has a Colosseum challenge that gives out strange, emotionless creatures to the winners of said challenge? ......that...was a really weird thought. Where did that come from? In any case, you head down from the tree, and-- ....oh. You're going to bluff the laws of physics so that you have a Death Note. That's.... a thing you can do I guess-wait. No. Your name is written in the notebook, on the inside cover. If you made the notebook into a Death Note, you would die. That's what a Death Note is, right? It sounds like it's a notebook of death, anyhow. You could write people's (and possibly animal's, given that there's a CAT) names in the notebook so you don't forget them. You contemplate doing this as you walk towards the mansion. Eventually, you arrive at the mansion. It has a tidy yard, with a yard surrounded by hedges, and a garden with wildflowers in it. While the garden looks as though it originally was painstakingly planned, it seems to be growing naturally, as if the gardener had decided that nature's plan for it was better than the original plan. A particular flower seems to be more vibrant than the others. You walk up to the door, and stand there. The door is much taller than you, and seems to be made of an expensive and beautiful wood. Mahogany, perhaps? There's a brass door knocker with a fancy pattern on it, but you'd have to jump to use it.... So, what will you do? And will you use the notebook to write down important information, such as names?

Go inspect the most vibrant flower, it seems important.
Maybe nickname it "Seymour."

You decide to go pick up the flower, thinking it must be important somehow. After all, it wouldn't be so vibrantly colored and eye-catching if it wasn't! You approach the flower, inspecting its vibrant purple color and taking in its scent (it smells unusually vivid. You're not sure why, but you have an urge to make a joke about Pokemon). It seems to have a slight...magic to it... You decide that you may as well take it with you, and try to pick it, but even with the strength of an Incineroar, you find that you...can't? Okay. There's more than one way to transport a flower. You uproot the flower, and, unsure of where to put it so you can take it with you, you put it on your book, causing its roots to coil around the cover of your book. You can still open the book, so it's not an inconvenience. ---Wait!--- Since the flower is going with you, you decide to give it a name. How about... "Seymour". Yeah! That works! With Seymour in your party, you return back to the door, staring it down. Now, you could drop kick the door yourself. However, you could also use your awesome powers to bluff the laws of physics into thinking the door has legs, and is short enough that it could drop kick itself. You do that and... Oh. The door doesn't want to drop kick itself. Not even your awesome bluffing the laws of physics powers can control minds, unfortunately. You sigh in disappointment and drop kick the door yourself, using the bluffed height of the door to make it easier for yourself. "....That's quite the entrance there, Jessica." You were so excited that you'd gotten to drop kick the door that you didn't notice someone sitting in a rather plush armchair. He's dressed simply, wearing a white shirt, black pants, a comfy-looking coat, and a strange-looking pendant. Wait, you know this person. This is Teacher. He's been trying to help you get your memories back, and he takes care of you and a few other children... "I was getting worried... you said you'd be out for a walk in the forest to try and help your memories return, and you didn't return for 2 hours... Say, what's that on your book?" You show him Seymour, and he looks a bit concerned. "You uprooted Chloe's flower? It's going to grow back eventually, but...look it's bonded to your book, can you help her grow the next one?" What will you do?

Explain, using your incredible bluffing skillz, that you didn't remember whose flower it was, but that it looked like cotton candy so clearly you had to take it.

Ask who Chloe is. Do we want to help this person? What if they bully us constantly? If that's the case then I consider this a taste of their own medicine.
