Hey, so I'm the person most of you know as Kage or Sombra.
Some of you may have noticed that the small thingy (on my forum theme it's a chess pawn, in others I think it might be the Venus and Mars symbols) indicating my gender has changed color recently. It was pink (female) before but now it's blue (male).
I feel like I should tell you guys this because I plan to be more active on here (and it's one of the reasons I vanished for a while- because I was trying to figure it out) and it's really bound to come up sometime....
I'm a transgender male.
While I was gone, I was busy trying to figure out and rationalize my identity to myself, and between that and schoolwork I've been pretty tired.
As it stands, I am willing to be totally out on the internet, but real life is a bit dicey. My parents (mom in particular) are very conservative and despite my having come out to them after pressuring from certain trusted adults, they refuse to acknowledge my identity in any way. However, everyone else I've told (namely the faculty and my close friends at the school I attend) has surprisingly been very supportive. I hope I will receive the same response here.
As for what to call me, the pronouns he/him are preferable and if you really want to, you can use my real name- Matthias/Matt.
Please let me know if this violates rules of the forum in any way, I can't think of any off the top of my head but still.
