I beat Red Rescue Team, Explorers of Time (the first arc), and Explorers of Sky (all of it, I love that game). EOS was my favorite by far, although it probably helps that it was the one I played most recently. Might seem kind of selfish, but I never picked up Gates to Infinity mainly because you didn't have the choice of twenty or so pokemon to start with anymore. I liked being able to choose starters besides the main series starters and Pikachu. because you can never have too much Pikachu, apparently My favorite pair was from EOS, where I was a Riolu and my partner was a Vulpix.
I might pick up Super, I dunno. I want to get back into the series, but I think it still just has the basic starters. It was just a huge letdown for me when they got rid of the larger pool.

Yeah, in Super you can only play each starter, Pikachu, and Riolu.

So yesterday Nintendo announced Pokemon Go, which is basically Pokemon as an augmented reality game like Ingress.
I'm really hyped because I'm a huge Ingress fan and a Pokemon Augmented Reality Game and/or ARG would be glorious, but what are you guys's opinions?

Well, the Bulbapedia article says it's not confirmed to contain Augmented Reality but I forgot what that was so whatever.
It sounds interesting. I'll probably buy it, I just hope Nintendo doesn't go insane when it comes to in-app purchases.

Edit: Also, I noticed that Gates to Infinity was pretty much the last pokemon game before gen 6 happened (except rumble u, if you played that), and that new green pokemon showed up at the end of a pokemon movie, so gen 7 should be soon? Double Edit: Most gens start three years between eachother, so JUST GIVE US GEN 7 ALREADY!!! I'm pretty content right now, to be honest. I'll give 'em two years before I get bored of trying to find perfect IV Klinks. Seriously I have like, 4 6IV Zoruas from DexNav alone why is this so hard alluvasudden???

What with the "moving around to catch pokemon" thing. Also Niantic Labs is an expert at AR games because of Ingress, and the PokeGo Plus watch thing says something about "notifying you when you're near the location of a Pokemon in the real world", so I'm pretty sure it's Augmented Reality. I named my Rotom Niantic last summer. I think I predicted it!

Zygarde's new forms have all been revealed! The normal Zygarde is apparently 50% Zygarde. There's a dog like think which is 10% Zygarde. The huge creature is Perfect Zygarde, who is apparently stronger than Xerneas and Yveltal. The little blob thing is Zygarde Core, and is some kind of brain thing, and there's also Zygarde Cell, which is a weird flat Zygarde Core thing. Here's a Bulbanews article. bulbanews.bulbagarden.net/wiki/CoroCoro_officially_reveals_new_Zygarde_formesAlso there's some kind of weird "Ash Greninja" thing because why not and the next anime season is going to be called "XY & Z" or something. So I guess Pokémon Z is going to be a thing.

Huh. That's interesting I guess. Although why specify the percentages?
Me being the ARG nerd I am, I'm still more hyped for Pokemon Go.

I guess because 50% Zygarde sounds cooler than Medium Snake Thing Zygarde. I find it kind of odd that Perfect Zygarde isn't shaped like a Z. I guess 50% Zygarde is supposed to be his "base" form, even though that doesn't make mathematical sense.

I guess. Or it could be that all the percentaged Zygardes are over 90% Zygarde and they're hiding how its power increases exponentially or something.
...Maybe only the base form has the ability to change into these other forms (and once in those forms they can only change back to the base form?) and/or is more comfortable?

So no Gen 7...
I dunno, I just didn't really play X and Y or ORAS past the story.

Got Super Mystery Dungeon after I realized just how much I missed the Dungeon series. It's great so far. It seems a lot more strategic than some of the other games; you can't just bull your way through dungeons with normal attacks anymore, you have to manage your moves wisely. It still hasn't passed up EOS as my favorite, but once I get a bit farther into the story, it very well might.

Lucky you, all us Europeans still have to wait another month. I mean, usually the delay is only a couple days between regions, why was this delayed by two whole months?

I hope gen 7 has more Pohkeemanz. And evolutions. Also SUPER Mystery Dungeon is, like, really good with a relatively easy story and everything else is super hard you should get it yay.

At least it's not eight months. That's the release gap between Japan and basically everyone else for Fire Emblem Fates. It's fun. Also, Super Mystery Dungeon has a Nuzleaf that talks in a Southern accent. That's all anyone needs to know about the game. I don't even have it yet.

No spoilers. You just gotta play the game after buying it with your money. Wait Japan already has FE Fates...?

I got super mystery dungeon and it's okay. It's not quite my cup of tea, mostly because I find all of the characters annyoing, even the one I play as. (Got Turtwig) The combat is pretty good/challenging, but it goes by so fast it's hard to tell what just happened after the oppponent's move. There's probably a better story going on, but I have yet to get there.

The 2016 Legendary Pokémon distributions start today! Every month a different mythical Pokémon will be given away. They'll be given away via cards, so you just have to go to wherever they're being given away in your country and grab the card.
The Pokémon that's available this February is Mew.

Perhaps this is a Gen 7 Pokémon revealed early? Will we ever know? Probably at some point.

Someone said it might be connected to the Pokéball factory. I like that and can believe it, based off it's body patterns.

One of the rumor mills I looked in on theorized that it actually was the GS Ball from a long way back, the one that originally was going to have celebi before it got written into the movie. The two vaguely resemble each other enough I suppose.
Definitely for Gen 7 though, They've been pulling stuff like that since literally day 1. Ho-oh you smarmy punk sneaking in two years early Who do you think you are.

I kind of doubt that it's its the GS Ball. I imagine that they've probably forgotten about that by now, especially since it only had a major role in the anime.
BUT WE NEVER FORGET!!
