You open your eyes, blinking a bit. In front of you, a sea of bright, aurora-like colors. The ground beneath you a solid blue, as if to give the illusion of walking on water, you look around. A voice is heard.
You...you're not from this world, are you? May you be...an Outrealmer?
Forgive me for intruding your dreams like this, but...
Well, it's probably easier to show you...
The aurora colors clear. The area below is completely transformed--A set of three islands, it seems, and another two sitting on their own clouds...
This land...it was once a great world, filled with all sorts of creatures. Dragons, wolves, cats, birds, bees, you name it, it was here. But recently, it has been ravaged by a dark force of some sort. Something I call...the Void. The Void is a powerful thing, devouring all who live in a world, leaving the world itself untouched, but slowly but surely taking away its inhabitants. One by one, this Void took a new person every minute or so. Eventually, when there were few left to combat the Void, it went all out, taking everyone in a quick blaze. A few people escaped...but most were taken by it, never to be seen again. This line of islands is but a small part of this world I govern as its goddess, however I...I always liked this place. Even though it was mostly human-inhabited, it was so remote and still diverse. Which is why I brought you here, Outrealmer.
The goddess returns the area to the auroras. Suddenly, your reflection is clear in the non-water ground, but it's all hazy...
I can only rekindle so much life into this world...so here's what I hope to do. I will allow you onto the isle of your choice. Hopefully, more than one Outrealmer will be on an island at a time, and you can attempt to perhaps bond with them. Once your bonds are close enough, I will be able to create one new creature from the power of the bonds you share. As they grow stronger, the creature and your bonds, I will be able to make more and more life appear, on the isles and in other places in the world. In return, I will allow you to have a second life of sorts on these islands. You may ask: how can I have a "second life"? It's simple, really...you will live in this world, but when you fall asleep here, you will return to your world, after any dreams you may have. Later in your own world, you will return here after any dreams you have after falling asleep.
If being as you are is something you would not like, then I will allow you to alter yourself to your liking. If you want something as simple as a change of hairstyle, that is acceptable. If you would like a more drastic change...say, a change of height, weight, or even species, then I will allow you to do that. However, be warned--I only have the power to spare to do this for one time, so once the alterations are complete, you will be stuck with them in this world forever.
The reflection vanishes.
I only ask that you live in this world for half of your continued life, and in return, it will be like living two. So please, I beg of you...help me bring this world back to life!
Basically, this RP is about the people that have been summoned to this mystery world. You will each control up to three characters. They'll follow this template:
The RP will take place solely within this world, and for a while will be on one of the five islands until someone finds new lands. The islands are as follows:

Def: Your physical damage resistance. One Def negates one Str.
Skl: How accurate/skilled you are with your attacks.
Mag: Your magic damage output.
Res: Your magic damage resistance.
Spd: Your natural speed and agility. Helps evade stuff and run fast.
Luck: Self-explanatory--helps when finding stuff and hoping things will go to plan.

Castle Island: A grassy isle with an empty castle town in the center. There's some empty boats and some shipwrecks too.
Desert Island: An arid desert isle with an empty camp in the center. There's an oasis near the camp, but also towering sand dunes adorning the east side.
Volcano Island: A volcanic isle. There's a single tower next to the dormant volcano, as well as some cages...?
Sky Kingdom: A keep in the sky. While technically two islands, there is a bridge that connects the two, making them considered one.
Cavern Island: An island littered with crystals. There seems to be a large opening in a rock formation, large enough to fit a small town's worth of humans.
