Gravity Falls is an animated television show which currently airs on Disney XD after beginning on Disney Channel. It follows the (usually supernatural) adventures of Mabel and Dipper, a brother and sister spending summer vacation with their uncle in Gravity Falls. As the summer continues, they are pulled deeper into the mysteries of the town.
With "A Tale of Two Stans" airing later today and ending the long drought, I'm sure we're going to find a reason to use this thread.

I was going to make this thread but okI just saw the new episode. The episode was mostly just the backstory of the twins, but they managed to link together a lot of things from the other episodes that the fans have noticed. I thought the episode was very well-written, and I hope the the next episode premieres quickly.
Also, did anyone else notice how there barely seemed to be any commercial breaks?

I saw the new episode as well, and I can't help but wonder... Is what Mabel said about hoping they don't "get stupid", coupled with Stanford and Stanley's story foreshadowing?

The next episode, "Dungeons, Dungeons, and More Dungeons", is premiering on Disney XD on August 3rd. Which is tomorrow!

I'm sort of wondering if the dynamic in the Mystery Shack will change at all, and I guess I'm finding out tomorrow!

That was a great episode. I always enjoy the episodes focusing on Dungeons and Dragons. Also, the wizard guy was apparently voiced by Weird Al' Yankovic, which is awesome. Also, another episode titled "The Stanchurian Candidate" airs August 24th! At least the show is returning to a somewhat normal update schedule after that fun hiatus.

A few episodes past and all that, but the next episode is airing on October 12th. It is called "Dipper and Mabel vs. the Future".
Also, I'm very sorry for double-posting. What a horrible crime.

wow rude I should put you in the Bully Box for that.
Also it's one of the best kids shows on TV right now, so I must inform you that you're wrong.

Back on topic, why do you think a metal plate helps ward against Bill? Or does it at all?

I think it was supposed to mean his head was reinforced and Bill couldn't get passed it somehow. I'm not sure.

Well if Bill is a Nightmare being/dream demon, why would something physical like a metal plate stop him? I can understand the unicorn hair barrier, as unicorns were portrayed to have magic powers, but an ordinary metal plate?

According to someone on TV Tropes, the plate might keep him from possessing Ford, but it doesn't keep him from entering the mindscape, or something. I'm not really sure.
