Well, it happened.

At the age of 55, due to a bile duct growth (cancer), Satoru Iwata has passed away.

This is certainly some sad news. One of the largest Inspirations and Contributions to gaming itself, his memories will live on, in his magnificent games, his banana troubles, and his reggie battles.

Rest in peace, Satoru. We will all miss you.
