No, we have not. For that matter, Ren and Avalon's backstories is pretty hazily defined. All we know is that Ava and Deathmask trained together, and one time he put frog guts in her hair. Y'know, not too in-depth.

Maybe Aaron's village was attacked, and he tried to hold off the aggressor with his Cosmos but failed, and when the Saints of Athena arrived and saved his village they asked him if he wanted to be a Saint? And then shortly after he got there Mia was brought in and he tried to socialize with her since she was new too but she sort of ignored him mostly although she talked with him occasionally?
I'm not sure for Avalon and Ren.

Wonderful backstory. I like it.
Okay, here's Avalon's. She grew up with her grandparents, since her real parents weren't exactly responsible. Her birth parents had been dancers who couldn't deny their passion for each other. She was an accidental birth, and her parents didn't want to give up their career, so they handed Ava off to her father's parents and toured Europe together. Avalon's grandparents didn't want her going the same way as her mom and dad, so they enrolled her in a rigid girls school. However, the young Avalon ran away and worked in theater for some time as an extra and dancer. That is, until one day when the troupe she joined was performing in the Pierce Street Theater and it caught fire. Avalon survived the fire by using her Cosmos for the first time, but sustained a head injury. She still has the stitches from it, but styles her hair so that it's covered. Once she recovered, she had little memory of her past and joined the Saints of Athena.
I don't know about Ren... maybe she was a criminal?

Ooh then Ren was eventually caught, but it turns out she was being manipulated by...someone, we can make up their character later, so the Saints took her in because she was an orphan, but eventually she discovered the strengtg of her Cosmos so rather than having her be adopted they let her stay?
