One, no, I did not. Two, getting a normal laptop is most definitely not going to happen as (in the eyes of my parents) a Chromebook can do everything I need to do.

'Course, some laptop chargers will do the exact same thing, at least in my experience.

One, it's a Death Note reference, two, tell them you need a flash drive? Or would that not work

It's a Chromebook, "working" isn't part of the deal.

Yeah, it's gonna be sad. But not on the level of The Truth Will Set You Free.

Because it does. I wouldn't say it's going to be too bad, the character involved isn't exactly well-liked. Plus, it gives me an excuse to write some beautiful scenes, create alternate timelines, and in general have fun.

Well, I got my wisdom teeth removed yesterday. And other than the expected pain on the sides of my moth and the fact that I can only eat soft foods, nothing really seems all that different. The medication they gave me isn't really making me think any differently than normal, which is something everyone was telling me would happen, and I really didn't even notice them ripping my teeth out for the most part, despite being awake through the whole thing, so I'd say that this isn't all that bad.

Ouch, I have to get mine sometime this year. Glad to hear it isn't as bad as I'd thought. My family is making it out to be some kind of major tragedy, while I'm thinking that after the years of painful orthodontic torture devices, the removal of my wisdom teeth won't be super bad.

Yeah, it may have been different for them than it was for me, but for the most part, I didn't even feel the teeth getting pulled out. The worst part is after your mouth starts waking up, because that's generally when the pain is at it's worst, and at that point, any painkilling medicine you would've taken beforehand is likely a wearing off, but it really hasn't been as bad as I was told and I expected it would be.
