Right, I forgot that logic never existed here.

Logic? What logic? You are fairly certain there has never been logic here, visible or otherwise.

I assure you, I'll never believe anything that even loosely resembled this nonexistent concept of logic ever can exist, did exist, or ever will exist on these forums.

Don't mention logic to Ms. Asfoxy. If you do, she puts a bag over her head and begins to nope. Then we have to stand in the letterbox and sing SPG. She's perfectly fine besides that.

I'll probably not be able to do anything until spring break because of this stupid project we've got to do.

See, this is what's annoying about high school (and to some extent middle school). Every break they give you, teachers take advantage of the break and assign essays and projects to do so you can't relax. Not all teachers do that, which is nice, because some actually recognize that a break is a time to relax from school.

when I was in 9th grade I had an online health class that they suggested we should do during Thanksgiving and Winter breaks.

Ugh. That sounds terrible. I can't help but feel like my teachers are going to do that simply because I'm in an advanced class.

School, why must you be so horrible yet so important to many adults?

Seems like it. If a kid is doing well in school and/or has what society considers to be a valid hobby or skill, then people naturally think the parents and adults in that kid's life have been good role models and are supportive and the like. If a kid is doing badly in school and/or does not have a socially acceptable hobby or skill, people assume that the parents haven't been showing leadership or paying enough attention to their child's education and development. Parents and guardians get looked upon differently depending on what their kids do as well as what they do. Just a theory here, but that's probably why they call your parents when you've done something wrong- it's not entirely to let them know what happened and such, but to basically tell them that they need to control their kid better.

Yeah. Although there's also the fact that they basically say "If you do well in school, school is working, and if school isn't your thing, it's your fault", which is obviously rigged towards them winning.

True. I've been sitting in a gym all day because of our school's District Band Festival. It means we have to go back to the middle school. My parents were all like "oh, you'll relive all your great memories of your time there!" I didn't have the heart to tell them that middle school was a horrible, torturous experience for me and any good memories I have of it are of the days I didn't get made fun of by my "cool" classmates.

Parents are pretty oblivious, despite how they're considered to "know their children". It's kind of sad how much they think they know, but how much we don't have the heart to tell them they don't know. Also... *hugs Kage*

Quite true. It's sad how much a parent thinks they know about their child compared to how much they really know. Thanks for the hug.
