You dream up some Light Yagami person or something to see if any sort of creature besides the thief is doing this. Scaaaaaaannnnniiiiinnnng...........nnnnope. It's sort of there. Your idea exhausted, you ask Alle for an idea. Shrugging, he dreams up a flashlight and shines it, to...no effect. Darn. Ruby's the only one left who can help for this run, so you ask her for an idea. She rubs her chin before snapping her fingers and dreams up the basketball court you two play on in official matches. You grab the giant fan used to keep the court nice and frosty and dismiss the dreamscape, setting it down in front of the fog and turning it on. It works on the fog, but that only reveals more dark scenery--a literal dark woods area. You get kinda creeped out, and allow the illusion of the fog to resettle, saving you from the heart-stopping terror of the dark scary forest. Any other ideas?

Burn down all the trees.
Or did you say we couldn't do that... I have a weird feeling that you said we couldn't do that.

When all else fails in a dark woods area, there's only one thing left to try. Close your eyes and try again, ignoring the objections from Ruby and Al.
Wait a minute.... Did we seriously name them Ruby and Sapphire?

Sapphire: Use your Future Vision to figure out the best path. Ruby: Be the ETERNAL FLAME, BABY! Al: Check the news to see if "Kira"'s identity has been discovered. Then change your name to Amethyst.

You grab your Claws and do some shredding, only to find you didn't do a dang thing to avoid circling back to start.
You close your eyes and try going through normally and then do it again with shredding. Still no results.
Angry, you attempt to use Future Vision, only to summon a Sapphire. You're pretty sure it fits into your Katana, so you slot it in and try out its effects. You may now receive glimpses of the future when wielding it, giving you hints on what to do and what your enemies will try next.
Ruby seems to be all fired up for some reason. She's doing her best Igneel impression too, so make of that what you will.
Al meanwhile checks the news on Earth. Kira has not been discovered at all, yet, though they say they have a lead in the form of some wizard. Somehow. On Earth. Life is good. He thinks of changing his name to Amethyst but you decide against it, since last time you tried being a gem you got the Sapphire. Sure enough, I am a jerkish narrator once again and conjure an Amethyst on top of Al's head. You take it and try it out, only to find it doesn't seem to have much in the way of latent powers yet. It does add a nice range extension to your sword, but besides that, it's mostly useless, so you requip the Sapphire.

Just... www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdU8oqCbvzoYou and Ruby decide that you've held off the fans for too long. You have avoided, pried, tried, and cried for everything related to this subject. But now...it's time. Or that's what it would be if you apparently had to have the same amount of pixels. I guess fusion works differently here? Al decides to refresh the page he's on over and over again to see if there's any more recent news. All he gets is a debunk about that wizard--apparently they were just passing by and suddenly they were cuffed. All else failing, you Rocket Jump above the foggy area to try and find a way to the exit. The problem? You see no obstructions--it should be a straight shot to the temple. You land and try again, but still no obstructions--and therefore no walls to follow to the heart of this apparent maze. Seems like this place truly is under a powerful spell...if only you could resist it, or get rid of it with some item that can dispel dark-, plant-, and water-based obstacles...

I thought the metaphorical mansion in this situation was the Altar? Anyway, you fire. No, literally. Claw shots go everywhere. EVERYWHERE. No change? Fire some more! You ask Ruby and Alle to join in, and Ruby obliges happily, angry at this puzzle (and now successfully doing a Laxus impression). After much shooting for many hours, nothing has changed. You're exhausted, you're out of ideas, you're out of...well, you get my point. In a fit of rage you shoot Alle's gun at the barrier and... ...the whole forest explodes. That's when you remember what I said about his gun--the woods were dark, and well, they were foggy. And also woods. In other words, Alle's gun was built for this part of the story. That's probably what Alvis was trying to tell you about when he said you should've gotten Alle to join you first. Huh. Either way, the Altar is now closer than ever, and...there's someone in front of it. They look kinda reptillian to you, but they're standing on two legs. They wear a hooded jacket, holding in their hand a wand. They don't seem to be wearing any pants, which you can't blame, considering none of the worlds make pants that accommodate the tail this person owns, which is adorned by two celtic knots. Their scales are light blue. "Ugh...I don't get it...how did you break my spell?!" the reptile says in a rather feminine voice. "Hey, you made the thing, you should be able to tell," Ruby says. "Actually I was going to do something from the start bu--" and then Alle is cut off by the apparent Mage. "Shush you croc. You're not getting anywhere near the weapons...or the Starlight!" "The Starlight?" asks Ruby. "You took it?" "No kidding, Sherlock. Is there any reason you ask?" "Why would you take it?! It's the only way the gods stay out of mortal affairs and we all know what Draonis is like." "You don't understand. You won't understand...NONE OF YOU WILL UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM TRYING TO DO." "What? How the hell do you know?!" "No one...no one will believe me...so therefore..." The Mage turns to you with slitted eyes, looking very angry. "I MUST STOP YOU BEFORE YOU GET IN MY WAY AGAIN!" *flash flash* "Look, out, Sapph!" "Here she comes...!" *WOOOOOSH*???, Starlight Mage Class: Mage Weapons: Sorcerer's Wand Party: Sapphire(B), Ruby(R), Alle(R) COMMANDS!

I forgot his gun even did that. Also, change her name to Ms. Potatoast for the time being.
Sapphire: Try to slash her with your claws. Ruby: Attack with the pistol and use the speed from your shoes to avoid her attacks. Alle: Shoot with your cannon in case she summons more barriers.

>ClawSlic >Cannon1 >DreamCan >Asphoxia >Battle Start!<
You start by slashing at Ms. Potatoast as you will call her for now, then get out of the way for Alle and Ruby. They fire simultaneously at Potatoast, only Alle's hitting its mark due to a darkness barrier put up by her after your slashes. She doesn't seem out of the running yet, though--she casts some sort of counter-spell and begins charging her magic. You take this opportunity to summon a mighty beast, one that has caused many a person fright. The great...the powerful... ...Phox. ...what are you doing here? ...you know what, yeah, just slash her. ...wait wait I think she used an anti-Blader-- Oof, that's gotta hurt. You feel some of the pain too, but Phox seems unfazed. Her attack complete, she warps out. Luckily, though, that used up the counter-spell! How will you take advantage of this?

Thinking fast, you have Ruby and Alle fire at Potatoast, keeping her locked in place, busy being hit, while you prepare to a slash charged with magic. However, at the last second, Potatoast dodges, which only serves to chuck some vitamins at her. They do nothing, but she staggers back a bit. You nom some yourself and trigger a vision in doing so--
??? Dark Art: X-Zone (Front Spread) Ruby
The vision tags line up as you watch the scene play out. Potatoast summons a dimensional portal, leading to some starry atmosphere. The portal begins to suck Ruby towards it, and it will likely take everyone else near her as well. The portal closes as Ruby draws close, and suddenly an explosion of dark magic and lightning occurs around her, leaving her heavily injured and shaky in aim.
Damage: Heavy (Skl Down, Def Down, Res Down)
The vision snaps out, and you see Potatoast has given herself a Super Armor buff, preventing you from interrupting her charges/attacks. You have two options--defeat Potatoast before she gets off the attack or warn one of your allies about the upcoming attack in hopes you can stop it. You have room for two Reactions in case the future gets in its dire stages--one from you and one from an ally. What'll it be?
VISION ???>Dark Arts: X-Zone (FrSpread)>Ruby>Heavy (Skl, Def, Res Down)
Potatoast Status: 50% to defeat
Reactions: Sapphire: Ally:
Sapphire: Still kicking Ruby: BAD FUTURE, Clear shot Alle: Clear shot
